The Regional Sales Director, Aerospace & Defense will lead our strategic sales growth within the Federal, DoD, DoE, and prime contractor markets. **Responsibilities**
Develop and execute a high-impact sales strategy for the A&D vertical, aligned with the AMR 3-year Gameplan and growth pillars: KAM, NPI, IP³, and Channel Strategy.
Lead, mentor, and coach Regional Sales Managers (RSMs) and Account Managers (AMs) through structured development plans, stay conversations, and regular progression reviews.
Drive strategic customer engagement by preparing pre-visit strategy discussions, delivering value-added insights in meetings, and facilitating post-visit debriefs.
Own top-tier accounts alongside RSMs and AMs (e.g., Raytheon, Northrop Grumman, Lockheed Martin), building executive-level relationships and executing program capture strategies.
Implement and manage account-based "Program Capture Reviews" to reinforce funnel creation and development of new strategic opportunities.
Collaborate cross-functionally with product, engineering, channel, and business development teams to ensure alignment of messaging, value differentiation, and customer proximity.
Track and report key metrics such as funnel creation, new customer contacts, forecast accuracy, and team engagement levels.
Communicate a clear narrative about the direction, purpose, and impact of the A&D team: building trust, clarity, and alignment across all levels.
Represent Tektronix at industry events, customer meetings, and executive forums with a compelling, strategic presence.
**Qualifications**
Proven track record of success in sales leadership within Aerospace & Defense or complex Federal markets, including managing long-cycle, high-value deals.
Strong domain expertise across defense primes, DoD/DoE agencies, and the test & measurement value chain.
Expert at coaching, leading, and developing sales teams in complex, high-stress environments.
Excellent strategic thinking, customer insight, and executive-level communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to create demand and differentiate solutions in competitive, budget-constrained markets.
Experience designing and leading structured sales frameworks (e.g., funnel creation, program reviews, account planning).
Bachelor's degree required; MBA or equivalent preferred. Technical or engineering background is a plus.

**Overview**

Bowhead is seeking a motivated **Junior Engineer** to join our dynamic team providing critical support for **C5ISR (Command, Control, Computers, Communications, Cyber, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance)** systems to our international partners through the **Foreign Military Sales (FMS)** program.
As a **Junior Engineer** , you will work side-by-side with experienced professionals, government agencies, and defense industry leaders to deliver technology solutions around the world. You will play a key role in shaping global security by supporting military readiness and capability enhancement for allied nations.
**Responsibilities**
The Engineer shall provide technical and engineering support with the following tasks:
+ Perform engineering and analysis of FMS country requirements.
+ Analyze contract technical deliverables for adequacy and completeness for FMS programs, including system design documents, test plan and report documentation, operator and maintenance technical manuals, training documentation and materials.
+ Vet release of FMS country requested equipment in accordance with Chapter 3 of the Security Assistance Management Manual.
+ Conduct market research andanalyze market research results.
+ Converse with a wide range of technical skill sets in supporting Security Assistance requirements for Country, Office of Security, DSCA/USASAC and vendors/industry partners.
+ Apply technical knowledge of C5ISR systems such as Combat Net Radio (CNR), Sensors (Firefinder Radars), SMART-T (COM), Night Vision, Intelligence, Electronic Warfare (IEW) and satellites
+ Assess configuration management of assigned equipment.
+ Developing, for Government review and approval, Acquisition Requirements Packages (ARP) for definite and Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contracts. ARPs include, at a minimum: Statements of Work or Performance Work Statement, System Requirements Documents, Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRLs), Independent Government Cost Estimates (IGCE), Source Selection Evaluation Plans (SSEPs), Quality Assurance Support Plans (QASP), OPSEC Cover Sheets.
+ Performing FMS case technical evaluations for Government approval and assessing technical requirements in accordance with Chapter 5.1.7.1.2 of the Security Assistance Management Manual.
+ Advise Source Selection Evaluation Boards (SSEBs) in accordance with Chapter 6.3 of the Security Assistance Management Manual.
+ Program briefs to organizations and customers utilizing Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel.
+ Assist the Government in preparing the following types of documents, which are not all-inclusive:
+ Justification and Approval (J&A) and Memo in Lieu of J&A
+ Country directed sole source awards
+ Undefinitized Contract Actions
+ Urgency Statements
+ Engineering Change Proposals
+ Contract modifications
+ Conduct and participate in witnessing test and acceptance events

+ A history of consistently meeting sales quotas and crafting/growing pipelines in net new territories.
+ Strong applications background and understanding of software systems.
+ Has outstanding interpersonal skills to complete sophisticated sales transactions and provide information and transparency to any sales deal; or problem resolution situation.
+ Conducts interactions with internal/external clients, peers, and management in a polished and highly professional manner.
+ Must be a proven self-starter with a strong work ethic and willingness to take initiative and ownership of the sales territory.
