Security Clearance:
An ACTIVE Secret clearance (IT Level II Tier 5 / Special-Sensitive Position) is required. Applicants will undergo a security investigation and must be eligible for access to classified information. US Citizenship is necessary for clearance eligibility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement system hardening across various Operating System (OS) platforms.
- Continuously monitor and evaluate system and network security to comply with DoD cybersecurity policies.
- Utilize MITRE ATT&CK and/or MITRE D3FEND frameworks to enhance threat detection and response strategies.
- Conduct advanced threat intelligence analysis and recommend mitigations for emerging threats.
- Perform vulnerability assessments employing the Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS) and other tools.
- Analyze vulnerabilities and craft effective remediation plans.
- Execute remediation by applying vendor patches and configuration modifications on Linux and Windows OS.
- Design and enforce security controls across networks, hardware, and software systems.
Desired Qualifications:
- A minimum of ten years of comprehensive experience in system hardening, networking, and virtualization.

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform system hardening across various Operating System platforms.
- Monitor and evaluate system and network security in line with DoD cybersecurity policies.
- Utilize MITRE ATT&CK and/or MITRE D3FEND frameworks to bolster threat detection and response.
- Conduct in-depth threat intelligence analysis and offer actionable recommendations.
- Carry out vulnerability assessments using tools like ACAS.
- Analyze vulnerability reports and create effective remediation plans.
- Implement vendor patches and make configuration updates on both Linux and Windows systems.
- Design, establish, and enforce security controls across all components.
Preferred Qualifications:
- At least 10 years of professional experience in system hardening, networking, and application of DoD cybersecurity policies.
- Expertise in using MITRE frameworks and conducting threat intelligence assessments.
- Proficiency in vulnerability assessments, particularly utilizing ACAS.
- Background in remediating vulnerabilities through patching and configuration changes.
- Experience in designing and implementing security controls on diverse platforms.
Required Certifications:
