**Position Summary:**
The Router position is an individual contributor role responsible for creating routes, managing routes, calculating delivery routes, times of deliveries and makes the necessary adjustments for drivers and customers. The Router role reports to the Transportation Manager or Routing Supervisor and normally works a Sunday through Thursday shift. The Router role works with numerous routing and software systems. + Perform and provide costing, off-days, maintenance, scorecard, customer and KPI reporting on scheduled intervals.
+ Perform recap of previous days actual routing results; make necessary changes/adjustments to the standard routes, if required.
+ Make maps and print driving instructions for drivers that are not familiar with the route assigned.
+ Produce driver manifest report and distribute nightly.
