What You'll Do

• Oversee the design and implementation of assigned products, taking user stories and features from concept to production independently.

How You'll Do It

Qualifications You'll Need

The Basics

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Informatics, Information Security, Information Technology, or a related field.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related area.
• For internal candidates only: technical proficiency at a competent level on the Dreyfus Engineering scale.

Physical and Cognitive Requirements

• Primarily remain in a stationary position.
• No requirement for movement about the work environment to fulfill the main responsibilities of the job.

• This position is for Software Solutions Architect who will support and complete the tasks necessary to design and implement a methodology to enable the MDHHS Health Services ESB to track the transmission of messages and provide additional related services supporting the interfaces for systems connecting to the Data Hub.
• Resource will work under the direction of DTMB Customer Services, MDHHS and DTMB cross matrix teams to support and complete the tasks necessary for the MDHHS Enterprise ISA technical team.
• The resource is integral to supporting and improving MDHHS automated processes, streamlining critical business processes, data integrity, SEM/SUITE compliance, and securing the applications.
• As a team member, the resource participates in a variety of assignments that provides for the enhancement, integration, maintenance, and implementation of projects.
• The resource will also provide application oversight to business analysts and to other teams integrating with Health Enterprise Service Bus (HESB).
• Not having a Software Solutions Architect on staff will delay ongoing and future project work within the area and lead to DTMB inability to deliver on prioritized enhancements and maintenance from HESB to all major applications like MDSS, EDRS, myHB/Client, MICR, MIHIN, MPHI etc.
