**What you'll do:**
The Customer Advisory Architecture Advisor (AA) works closely with SAP's Sales organization and the Partner ecosystem to define the account strategy. AAs are responsible for bridging the gap between the customer's business strategy and relevant solutions through crafting the to-be business and solution architectures and designing a transformation roadmap at the enterprise level to facilitate the customer's adoption of Cloud-based architectures. **Account Planning & Architecture Management Responsibilities**
Support the assessment of current customer solutions from SAP and potential areas of opportunity for faster solution adoption & consumption, as well as footprint expansion.
Engage with customers to support sales cycles throughout the Customer Value Journey as an integral member of the SAP account team.
Drive business and IT architecture definitions to ensure consistency, cooperation, and alignment with SAP organizations, the customer, and partners. Provide a linkage from the customer to SAP product development leadership.
**Creating an SAP Architecture Vision for the Customer**
Support building customer demand through appropriate thought leadership positioning.
Understand customer's business process map and business model with industry reference architecture focus.
Understand customer's current enterprise landscape and future needs. Drive the positioning of standard cloud architectures (plug & play) leveraging standard cloud solutions.
**Building Key Customer Architecture Deliverables: Business & Solution Architecture, Target State, Transformation Roadmap**
Drive business architecture and capability mapping to solution design.
Ensure IT feasibility of the business capabilities mapping to SAP solution architecture.
Support customer cloud transformation roadmap definition (business and application focus). Drive customer cloud/hybrid transformation roadmap definition (standard cloud application and technology focus).
**Being a Trusted Architecture Advisor for the Customer**
Align living roadmap with current adoption/solution consumption.
Support living roadmap governance & adaptation based on evolution of customer needs and SAP solutions.
Drive solution expansion by highlighting value & linkages to the broader SAP Portfolio
**What you bring:**
Considerable experience with software/IT organizations as an IT Architecture or Enterprise Architecture Advisor and/or specific expertise with software solutions through Solution Management, Sales, Presales, Adoption/Consumption, Consulting or Business Development, demonstrating successful outcomes over multiple years.
Represent SAP as the trusted advisor within SAP and/or the market.
Deep knowledge of Cloud, Hosted Services, SaaS/ PaaS models and Cloud-based commerce/ business networks. Proven professional networks in the market to drive pipeline and revenue growth for SAP. Proven track record of success in the selected industry area, if required.
Proven leadership and project management experience.
Proven experience of driving tangible outcomes in Enterprise Architecture for customers.
Fluency in English; any other language is an asset.
Fluency in the language of local markets is desirable.
Education: Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) required, MBA or equivalent degree required from accredited university preferred.

Public Safety Officer **Department of Public Safety, Stanford, California, United States** Security Post Date Jan 25, 2024 Requisition # **Job Purpose** Perform non-sworn, un-armed security and parking enforcement duties to provide a safe environment for faculty, staff, students and visitors to the Stanford campus. **Position Description** Public Safety Officers (PSO) support the overall public safety mission of the Stanford Department of Public Safety (DPS) by performing a variety of functions. PSOs work under the general supervision of a civilian supervisor, sergeant, or other designated officer in charge. Specific duties may include: patrolling designated areas of the University by foot, bicycle, motor vehicle or other DOT approved method of transportation for suspicious and/or illegal behavior, safety hazards, unlocked doors, opportunities to assist the public, etc.; enforcing violations of the University's Parking Code; providing traffic control services and/or logistical support during emergencies and special events; providing first aid or CPR; standing a security post in a potentially dangerous location; and staffing the Operations Desk monitoring the daily security and event operations of DPS' field personnel. PSOs wear a uniform and a duty belt with limited gear; the position can require moderate to strenuous activity. The ideal candidate must be physically fit and able to adapt physically and psychologically to frequently changing needs and priorities. Strong customer service and interpersonal skills, the ability to problem solve, a high level of energy, enthusiasm and flexibility are key characteristics of the successful incumbent. Purpose:
Responsible for the multiple monitoring and communications functions for the Public Safety and Facilities/Maintenance departments. Handles the facility work order system and related functions. Receives work order requests, issues work orders, monitors systems and alarms, receives telephone and radio calls and dispatches staff to routine and emergency situations.
Responsibilities:
+ Provide clerical duties for Operations Center-related activities including preparing purchase orders, manual typing, word processing, filing and telephone answering as required.
+ Under the direction of appropriate managers and supervisors schedules the work of outside service companies, i.e., elevators, utility companies, city water authority, etc. Prepare service outage announcements as required and distributes to all affected parties.
+ Responsible for monitoring and administration of the access control system. Enter and manipulate data and programs employee access cards as appropriate.
+ Ensure patient safety by monitoring and initiating responses to building alarm systems including the pneumatic tube system, Johnson Control automated temperature control system, access control, security and panic alarms, Simplex fire alarm system and other alarms.
+ Monitor all CCTV locations and rotate VCR tapes as indicated. Report malfunctioning cameras, obscured views, etc. Notice activity on the monitors and dispatch appropriate Facilities/HSS personnel to respond to a location.
+ Receive calls for service and dispatches appropriate personnel to respond. Calls or alarms may originate by telephone call, personal request, radio or automated system or Operations Center dispatchers may observe activity on the CCTV monitors which requires intervention.
+ Maintain written logs for all calls and operations center activities as needed including calls received and dispatched, safe transactions, VCR tape, fire system, etc.
+ Operate facilities' work order system including receiving and opening ON DEMAND work orders, preventive maintenance work orders, work order closing and work order reporting.
+ Compile, copy and distribute maintenance and construction announcements to designated department representatives and outside contractors.
+ High school diploma or equivalent required and 2 years of experience in Public Safety, Security, EMS, Maintenance, Utility Services or 2 years in a role using two-way radio, multi-line telephone, or computer aided dispatch systems OR
+ High School Diploma or equivalent required and is a current UPMC employee with 3 years of tenure OR
+ Associate's Degree in related area required
+ Previous dispatching experience preferred.
+ Microsoft Office experience preferred.
+ Problem solving skills necessary to balance multiple duties and effectively assign priorities.
