The Opportunity:
As a Deployment Lead, you will play a pivotal role in the successful deployment of major new and enhanced IPPS-A HR and Payroll functionality. This position requires a strategic thinker with exceptional leadership, communication, and technical skills to ensure seamless integration and operational readiness across the enterprise. You will be at the forefront of coordinating with various teams, managing complex interdependencies, and ensuring that all deployment activities align with the organization's goals and timelines.
Responsibilities:

Planning and Readiness: Lead the planning and readiness activities in coordination with functional, technical, training, and change management teams.

Deployment Plans: Develop, validate, and execute enterprise-wide deployment plans, including contingency planning and operational readiness measurements.

Collaboration: Work closely with the Release Train Engineer (RTE), Agile Release Trains (ARTs), testing, release management, and training leadership to align milestones with program increments (PIs).

Cross-Component Coordination: Coordinate across multiple Army components, trading partners, system integrators, and training leaders to achieve operational readiness and on-schedule go-lives.

Cutover Plans: Develop and execute cutover plans, considering the Solution Train roadmap, program milestones, Army business cycles, and other mission-critical constraints.

Post-Go-Live Support: Partner with the PMO to define a post go-live support strategy, stabilization plans, and performance metrics.

Risk Management: Proactively manage implementation risks, complex interdependencies, and emergency response planning.

Command Center Operations: Lead command center operations during deployment windows and oversee hypercare/post-go-live stabilization.

Reporting: Provide deployment status, issue escalation, and executive-level reporting, working long hours at critical times.

Liaison Role: Serve as the deployment liaison between PMO, technical teams, customer leadership, vendors, and change management leads.

Facilitation: Facilitate go/no-go meetings, production readiness reviews, rehearsal of concept drills, tabletop exercises, and post-mortem retrospectives.

At least five (5)years' direct experience directing and coordinating program activities associated with supporting the planning and deployment/implementation of an ERP system and associated enhancements

Key Responsibilities:

Provide general systems and logistics support to Government

Review and provide input to the logistics planning function

Support functions of personnel (government, civilian, military, and contractor) travel for official government business

Notify in-country representatives of expected travel, attain country clearances and assist travelers with fulfilling screening requirements and attaining travel advisories

Ensure compliance with all regulations and obtain the necessary approvals

Notify in-country representatives of expected travel, attain country clearances and assist travelers with fulfilling screening requirements and attaining travel advisories

Data entry of travel information into designated repository to maintain program level deployment records

Qualifications Required:

Associate's degree (or equivalent) with a thorough understanding of logistics associated with personnel deployments

Minimum of 5 years' experience

Job Description - The primary responsibility of the Resource Delivery Manager (RDM) is to manage resourcing for professional services engagements across a group of regions in North America. This position will work closely with the Practice Directors, Practice Managers, and Services Delivery Managers to understand resource demand and requirements. The RDM will also provide staffing for engagements based on skills and availability.
The RDM is expected to resolve conflict with competing priorities, to be proactive, and to drive best practices. The RDM needs to balance goals that are sometimes competing including achieving target billable utilization, quality of delivery, and employee development.
The position demands a high degree of organization and attention to detail.
As a Resource Delivery Manager, you will:
- Act as owner of the schedule and booking confirmations
- Discuss active projects and potential new business with Professional Services Management on a regular basis to understand resource demand and requirements and make recommendations based on skills match and availability
- Run weekly resource meetings and facilitate resourcing decisions, solving problems and resolving conflict/competing priorities
- Maintain resource schedules in PSA system of record
- Manage collaboration process to borrow and loan resources between regions
- Proactively identify issues for Professional Services management, including developing and distributing reports that monitor utilization (under or over)
- Work with PS management to implement action plans to resolve issues.
- Develop and drive best practices around resourcing across the organization
- Assist with development and implementation of new hire ramp up plans
- Drive PS to meet goals for billable utilization, customer sat, and quality of delivery
- Proactively analyze data and provide recommendations for areas of improvement relating to services delivery and the resource management process.
