This is a full-time on-site role for a Design Consultant at Atlas Marble & Granite. The Design Consultant will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, sales assistance, interior design recommendations, and knowledge in remodeling design. The role is based in Springfield, NJ.

+ Stays informed with the marketplace and industry trends.

+ Support and model excellent service by exhibiting a positive attitude and enthusiasm both in-store, virtually, and potentially in a customer's home, ensuring all customers are provided gracious, quick, and efficient service.

- Drive your personal vehicle to manage and crush 2-5 pre-scheduled sales appointments daily in your designated territory, obtained by aggressive company marketing efforts

TileBar is excited to announce the opening of our new Raleigh Showroom , and we're looking for an enthusiastic and service-driven Showroom Design Consultant to join our growing team.
In this role, you'll be the face of our showroom, working directly with a diverse clientele—including homeowners, designers, contractors, and installers—to provide personalized service, expert design advice, and a best-in-class customer experience.

What You'll Do
- Customer Engagement : Be the primary point of contact, offering expert advice, resolving inquiries, and ensuring a seamless showroom experience.
- Design & Consultation : Curate materials, recommend products, and create custom design boards that reflect client needs and style.
- Product Knowledge : Stay up to date on TileBar's offerings, brand values, and industry trends to provide the best solutions.
- Sales & Order Management : Oversee the full sales cycle—from quoting and purchase orders to order fulfillment and CRM tracking.
- Customer Experience & Team Collaboration : Partner with colleagues to ensure smooth operations, timely deliveries, and a positive customer journey.
- Relationship Building : Cultivate long-term client relationships to foster loyalty and repeat business.
- Brand Ambassador : Represent TileBar with professionalism and passion, upholding our values and commitment to service.
- Education & Experience :
- High School Diploma required; Bachelor's preferred.
- 3-5 years of sales or customer service experience (showroom, retail, or luxury sales a plus).
- Experience in tile, stone, furniture, textiles, or building materials is highly desirable.
- Sales & Customer Focus :
- Proven ability to achieve and exceed sales goals through consultative selling.
- Strong relationship-building and customer-first mindset.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Industry & Product Knowledge :
- Familiarity with tile, stone, or flooring products preferred (or a passion to learn).
- Ability to educate clients on design solutions and project planning.
- Technical & Operational Skills :
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; CRM experience (SalesPad, Magento, Salesforce, etc.) is a plus.
- Strong math, problem-solving, and order management skills.
- Understanding of logistics and supply chain processes.
