This opportunity entails being responsible for utilizing skills in interior design specifications as well as knowledge of industry standards to participate in all phases of design, including construction. Leads project teams in projects of varying levels of size and complexity. Manages small to moderate size projects.
**What You'll Do:**
+ Assists with architectural documentation and the development of 3D concepts.
+ Plans and conducts tasks requiring independent judgment in the analysis in design, planning, programming studies, design layouts.
+ Takes initiative on tactical and some strategic issues for space planning options or design direction. Brings forward new ideas and methods.
+ Confers with other interior designers, architects, and engineers for the purpose of explaining and interpreting interior design standards, codes and regulations.
+ Assists in the preparation of project specification compiling and analyzing relevant data.
+ Prepares presentations and keeps others informed.
+ Assists with material and color selection.
+ Assists with furniture selection, layouts, and specification.
+ Works with diverse teams across the practice to support client needs.
+ Communicates clearly with team members and senior staff.
+ Responsible for communication with project team, consultants and clients on small to medium size projects.
+ Participates in quality implementation plans, including scheduling for QC reviews and compiling comments in project documents.
+ Supports business development efforts under the supervision of team members.
+ Performs other duties as assigned.
**What You'll Need:**
+ Associate's degree in relevant field and 4 years of interior design or related experience, or
+ Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Interior Architecture, or Interior Design and 2 years of interior design or related experience.

The Lead Strategist will define and drive the user-centered design vision across multiple platforms, ensuring a seamless and delightful user journey.

This role demands a blend of creative thinking, strategic planning, and a deep understanding of user behavior. You will lead a team of talented designers, providing mentorship, design direction, and constructive feedback. Your responsibilities will encompass the entire design lifecycle, from user research and persona development to wireframing, prototyping, and high-fidelity visual design. You will collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and marketing teams to translate complex requirements into elegant and effective user interfaces. The Lead Strategist will advocate for the user, championing best practices in UX design and ensuring consistency in design language across all products. You will be responsible for defining design systems, conducting usability testing, and iterating on designs based on user feedback and data analysis.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the design strategy for web and mobile applications, ensuring alignment with business goals and user needs.
  • Oversee the creation of user personas, journey maps, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups.
  • Conduct user research, including interviews, surveys, and usability testing, to gather insights and inform design decisions.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive design systems and style guides.
  • Mentor and guide junior UI/UX designers, fostering a culture of creativity and excellence.
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams (Product Management, Engineering, Marketing) to deliver high-quality user experiences.
  • Present design concepts and rationale to stakeholders at various levels.
  • Stay abreast of the latest trends and technologies in UI/UX design and product development.
  • Champion user-centered design principles and advocate for the user throughout the product development process.
  • Analyze user data and feedback to identify areas for improvement and iterate on designs.
  • Ensure visual consistency and brand adherence across all digital touchpoints.
  • Contribute to product roadmap planning from a design perspective.
The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. A minimum of 7-10 years of professional experience in UI/UX design, with at least 2-3 years in a lead or management role, is required. A strong portfolio showcasing exceptional UI/UX design skills and successful product launches is essential. Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, and InVision is mandatory. Excellent understanding of user-centered design principles, interaction design, and visual design aesthetics is crucial. Strong leadership, communication, and presentation skills are vital for this role. Experience working in an Agile development environment and with complex SaaS products is highly desirable.
