**Position Summary.**
As a Senior Manager, Design Research at Sams Club, you will assess gaps between business expectations and user experience strategies by applying trends in user consumption habits and analyzing existing data. You will manage functional partnerships to achieve outcomes across international markets, leading cross-functional projects, and promoting collaboration. You will propose hypotheses, guiding research processes, verifying data accuracy, and translating insights into actionable recommendations to enhance user experience and product strategies. **Position Summary**

**Preferred Qualifications**
Advanced ArcGIS Pro/AGOL skills, including publishing web maps/apps (Dashboards, Experience Builder) and content governance.
Proficiency automating workflows with Python (arcpy/ArcGIS API) and/or ModelBuilder; practical Arcade for expressions.
Hands-on with Survey123 and ArcGIS Field Maps (form logic, schema, deployment, data flows).
Strong spatial analytics and hydrologic/watershed workflows (DEM conditioning, delineations, network analysis).
Database design and stewardship for large environmental datasets; enterprise geodatabases and solid SQL.
Clear, user-centered cartography/data storytelling for technical and public audiences; accessibility-aware design.
**Physical Requirements**
Requires occasionally lifting and/or carrying such articles as file folders and boxes, tools, or heavier materials with help from others and/or moving light objects frequently. A job in this category may require maintaining a stationary position to a significant degree or may involve a certain amount of moving necessary in carrying out job duties.
**Additional Requirements**
A driver's license is an essential function of this position. This requires possession of an unrestricted Class D Driver's License. The job offer is contingent on confirmation of a valid driver's license AND a satisfactory DLR check. Requires a Class D Driver's License: a single unit vehicle with a gross vehicle weight of less than 26,000 pounds. This is a basic driver's license. Operators may also tow vehicles/trailers as long as the gross combination weight does not exceed 26,000 pounds.
