Required Qualifications
+ Bachelor's Degree in Data Visualization, Graphic Design, Brand Marketing/Advertising, or related field plus 15 years of relevant experience
+ Experience using visualization tools including, at minimum: Adobe Creative Suite (Acrobat Professional, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign); Microsoft Office Suite; Data Visualization Libraries or Engines
+ Experience with Adobe Premiere, Flash, Cinema 4D, Dreamweaver, Final Cut Pro

+ Stays informed with the marketplace and industry trends.

**POSITION SUMMARY**
Role is responsible for creating graphics for programs and projects. Create high-quality artwork for tests and test-related products. Assess requests for graphics and respond to inquiries from Assessment Development staff.
**BASIC FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
+ Assesses requests for graphics and responds to inquiries from Assessment Development staff
+ Provides clear production updates to the Project Lead and Supervisor (as needed) of current workflow which includes volume, estimations for task completion, and issues impacting completion duration
+ Communicates with Content to discuss queries of Art production and provides basic guidance for art style, layout, and universal design while adhering to project specifications
+ Ensures that newly created art is proofed against art requests to check for quality and accuracy
+ Strictly follows documented procedures for creation and revision of art
+ Shares and contributes to general team and department knowledge as it relates to shortcuts, efficiencies, and expands upon overall department understanding of software skills and techniques, and with proper documentation
+ Learns and works in proprietary and partner item banking systems
+ Understands file management and works between various and unique testing programs
+ Understands and adheres to diversified style and technical specifications between numerous testing programs
+ Meets established deadlines and internal milestones or as directed by supervisor or project schedules
+ Generates report information for assigned projects and as requested by Supervisors
+ Coordinates with external vendors for technical specifications, needs, and capabilities; communicates needs and capabilities to vendors accurately and clearly to ensure that all file handoffs are completed according to established processes, and that materials provided are all in accord with client specifications
+ Assists Sr. Graphic Design Specialist, Graphic Design Specialist Lead and Supervisor in coordination of vendor work
+ Adheres to ethical standards and complies with the laws and regulations applicable to the job function

**EDUCATION**
Associates Degree in Computer Graphics, Graphic Design, Commercial Art, or Graphics Arts is preferred or an equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired, is necessary.
**EXPERIENCE**
Minimum one year of graphic design experience is required.
**Other Requirements:**
+ Working knowledge of latest versions of graphics software, including Photoshop and Illustrator
+ Understanding of tools and techniques used to create and manipulate various types of artwork
+ Knowledge of typography, graphic design, color theory, printing, and information design
+ Ability to work as part of team
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills
+ Ability to accomplish tasks within scheduled deadlines and budgets under pressure
+ Ability to understand project management
