Pay Transparency Disclosure

Job level and actual compensation will be decided based on factors including, but not limited to, individual qualifications objectively assessed during the interview process (including skills and prior relevant experience, potential impact, and scope of role), market demands, and specific work location. The listed range is a guideline, and the range for this role may be modified. For roles that are available to be filled remotely, the pay range is localized according to employee work location by a factor of between 80% and 100% of range. Byrne & Jones Construction is seeking a detail-oriented and creative Visual Design Technician to support our Sports Division. You'll collaborate closely with estimators, project managers, and our sales team to produce high-quality design packages that support both business development and field execution. Key Responsibilities:
• Create accurate and visually compelling 2D and 3D color renderings for athletic facilities.
• Develop site plans and design deliverables to support business development and estimating teams.
• Draft and prepare construction layout documents for use by field and project management staff.
• Collaborate with internal teams to review design intent, incorporate feedback, and ensure accuracy.
• Ensure all visual materials meet client expectations, brand standards, and project requirements.

Qualifications:

• Associate or Bachelor's degree in a related design or drafting field is preferred.
• Experience in civil or architectural design, especially related to sports or recreational facilities, is a plus.

• Collaborative attitude with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Work You'll Do
+ Work directly with leadership and subject matter experts to plan and implement visualization strategies associated to complex data sets, in support of analysis and decision making products.
+ Apply techniques such as context, storytelling, motion, relationship correlations to tell powerful/compelling visual stories
+ Create organizational brand and platforms that communicate with a variety of stakeholders at various levels within a complex national security environment.
+ Define visualization standards across portfolios to reinforce messaging and engage audiences.
Required Qualifications
+ Bachelor's Degree in Data Visualization, Graphic Design, Brand Marketing/Advertising, or related field plus 15 years of relevant experience
+ Experience using visualization tools including, at minimum: Adobe Creative Suite (Acrobat Professional, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign); Microsoft Office Suite; Data Visualization Libraries or Engines
+ Experience with Adobe Premiere, Flash, Cinema 4D, Dreamweaver, Final Cut Pro
+ Experience must include at least five of the following: brand experience, data visualization, graphical or video asset production, print/publication design, motion/video/audio production, information architecture, web or interactive design or graphical user interface design, wire framing or storyboarding, modeling and simulation
+ Experience must include at least two of the following: brand development and management, design strategy, multimedia production, video direction, user experience design
+ Ability to work on site 100% of the time in Annapolis Junction, MD
+ Ability to travel 10 - 25%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
+ Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
+ Active TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance required
Preferred Qualifications
+ Master's Degree in Data Visualization, Graphic Design, Brand Marketing/Advertising, or related field plus 10 years of relevant experience

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $102,750 to $171,250.
