**JOB PURPOSE:**
The Detail Specialist plays a dual role in maintaining vehicle cleanliness and assisting with parts inventory and logistics. This hybrid position ensures both a pristine vehicle presentation for customers and seamless parts coordination to support efficient shop operations.
**Responsibilities**
**Detailing Responsibilities (approx. 50%)**
+ Perform interior and exterior vehicle cleaning to prepare for customer delivery.
+ Conduct pre-wash on vehicles before repairs or detailing.
+ Buff vehicles (preferred but not required).
+ Move vehicles within the facility to support workflow efficiency.
+ Maintain shop cleanliness and organization, including removing debris and trash.
+ Monitor and maintain an inventory of cleaning supplies and chemicals.
**Parts Support Responsibilities (approx. 50%)**
+ Receive and match delivered parts to repair orders.
+ Inspect all incoming parts for quality and damage.
+ Return incorrect or damaged parts promptly to vendors.
+ Communicate regularly with vendors to track parts delivery status.
+ Ensure accurate parts invoicing and corrections within the estimating platform.
**Qualifications**
+ High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
+ Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
+ Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
+ Ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively in a team environment.
+ Automotive experience or interest preferred, but not required.
+ Must pass a background check and be legally authorized to work in the U.S.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Clean and buff trucks and trailers.
- Handle damaged equipment leaving the fleet by removing decals and preparing equipment for sale.
- Use industry standard safety equipment.
- Work in a production line
- Team members are expected to willingly lend assistance in additional areas as necessary, following the directives and guidance of their supervisor.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Driver's license
- The ability to work as part of a team as well as individually
- Regular attendance
