- Performs data collection, review, and analysis by conducting route service demographic ridership and schedule adherence studies, modifying services levels after reviewing ride check data, and maintaining historical scheduling adherence data. Monitor System-wide ridership by analyzing peak periods, determining if buses can handle an overload or discontinue if a route is underused, and investigating complaints of buses being tardy or overloaded.
- Supports the Director in preparing a response to Unmet Transit Needs (UTN) comments gathered by the Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO).
- Performs data validation for annual National Transit Database (NTD) reporting and auditing.
- Reports ridership information on a quarterly and annual basis for the American Public Transportation Association (APTA).
- At the direction of the Director, prepares and coordinates all necessary information for service implementations, and communicate it to the Operations, Maintenance, and Facilities departments to support effective planning and execution.
- Collects, maintains, updates, and analyzes demographic, ridership, traffic movement, route timing, operations, and other data required for planning, scheduling and system performance assessment functions.
- Develops, collects and tabulates surveys for agency-wide decision making, public hearings, etc.
- Monitors, validates, and analyzes ridership. For NTD reporting, maintain department databases, such as the Automatic Passenger Counter database and the ride check database.
- Works with the agency's CAD/AVL system to support service planning activities, including service changes and implementations; develop expertise in the system to assist with related analysis, coordination, and communication.
- Prepares maps, graphs, charts, and other visual aids to illustrate the results of analyses and studies; prepares multi-media presentations for use in making civic, educational, and regional planning presentations on transit issues.
- Conducts difficult to complex studies to identify service and operational deficiencies and evaluate service coverage issues; assesses route and service additions and modifications to address identified needs and presents recommendations to management; assists or participates in the development of transit planning policies and procedures.
- Answers questions and provides information to a wide variety of stakeholders in person, by telephone, and in writing; provides information to other transit agencies and governmental oversight groups regarding service linkages and connections.
- Assists in or conducts public outreach and public hearings and assists in or plays a key role in required processes to identify and plan for responses to unmet transit needs; assists in or plays a key role in the drafting of updates to RTD's Long- and Short-Range Transit Plans, the Transportation Improvement Programs, Title VI Program and other related plans and programs.

The Tsui Group is seeking a candidate who is qualified and experienced in educational facility construction projects to serve as a Project Manager - Planning & Development for a large educational client within Los Angeles County with the below duties:
- Manages, oversees and coordinates all facets of pre-construction, project development, bid/award, and project close-out phase of all assigned projects
- Works with the design team to focus on the approved original project scope
- Plans, organizes, and prepares reports to upper management with respect to the status and/or progress of the projects
