    1. Develop and document procedures for automated deployment processes for all IaC and ensure they are in line with industry best practices
    2. Perform architecture, design and engineering of Azure DevOps, including process modifications,source control, and all other aspects of the features provided by Azure DevOps

    Position Overview:

    World Services is seeking an experienced Top Secret Cleared DevSecOps Architect with a strong background in Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) Agile Release Train (ART) development to support a federal customer at NAS Patuxent River (PAX River). This is a mission-critical role requiring a seasoned professional to lead and coordinate software development efforts across multiple, geographically dispersed teams.

    This position requires on-premises support and an active Top-Secret Clearance. While specific technical certifications are not required, a candidate endorsed or recommended by senior leadership will be highly regarded.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Lead enterprise-level software design, development planning, and technical strategy across multiple teams.
    • Design and oversee secure, scalable CI/CD pipelines and container orchestration environments using Tekton, Kubernetes, and OpenShift.
    • Implement and guide adoption of DevSecOps tools for container security, compliance, and software supply chain management (e.g., Software Bill of Materials (SBOM), IronBank, Anchor, Chainguard).
    • Coordinate integration and collaboration among dispersed software development teams in a SAFe environment.
    • Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture principles, DevSecOps practices, and project goals.
    • Define architecture standards for containerized applications using Docker and modern deployment frameworks.
    • Provide strategic oversight on system design, architecture, and delivery.

    Required Qualifications:

    • Active Top-Secret Clearance is mandatory.
    • Experience with DevSecOps tools and platforms including (but not limited to): Tekton, Kubernetes, SBOM, IronBank, Chainguard, Anchor, OpenShift, and Docker.
    • Proven experience guiding large-scale software programs using the SAFe Agile methodology.
    • Demonstrated ability to work with and lead multiple distributed development teams.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

    Qualifications:

    • Experience supporting DoD software programs or working within secure facilities.
    • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
    • Background in enterprise system architecture and integration.
