About The Role
As a DevOps Manager, you will lead a talented DevOps team, oversee the implementation of robust development tools and infrastructure, and drive strategic initiatives to enhance our CI/CD pipelines, system reliability, and operational efficiency. Role Overview
As a DevOps Manager at Nuix, you will be instrumental in the development and continuous improvement of our core CI/CD build pipelines for our SaaS and on-premise solutions. This is a full-time, remote-first position. Candidates may choose to work from one of our office locations in Ft. Wayne, IN, or Waco, TX, if they are nearby. We can only consider applicants who reside in one of the eligible states listed below. The starting salary range is $130,000 - $40,000.

- Design an automation framework that allows us to perform rolling releases within hours of approval from QA to production
- Takeover and standardize our automation for creating ephemeral testing servers for both internal and external customers
- Review our deployment strategy and create a plan to standardize configuration management in a single repository
- Guide and mentor our team on an infrastructure as code strategy
- Reduce our MTTR to less than 1 hour for deployment related incidents
- Automate 90% of our teams repetitive, manual work so they can be free to focus on the finer details
- 2+ years managing a team of DevOps engineers
- 5+ years experience as a DevOps engineer or similar work
- 2+ years experience with Ansible
- Strong CI/CD automation background, preferably with Gitlab, Ansible, and Terraform
- Experience implementing centralized configuration management
- KPI driven, utilizing metrics to help tell a story when making decisions
- Mentor attitude, willing to roll up your sleeves and work alongside your team
- Familiarity with DORA metrics and implementing them from scratch
- Comfortable bridging the gap between engineering and infrastructure teams
