Senior DevOps Engineer - Global DevOps Engineering

Role Summary:

We're seeking an experienced and passionate DevOps Engineer to help transform our global contact centre technology. In this role, you will be at the forefront of implementing cloud capabilities and GenAI solutions across our operations in Canada, Asia, and the US.

What you will do:

  • Lead the implementation of DevOps practices and fully automated CI/CD pipelines
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve software quality and release frequency
  • Design and maintain automated build, test, and deployment processes
  • Support and coach engineers on DevOps tools and practices aligned with Sun Life's standards and policies
  • Ensure security standards are integrated into all solutions
  • Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues related to DevOps pipelines
  • Review and analyze organizational needs and goals to determine future impacts to applications and systems

What you need to succeed:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a relevant field
  • 7+ years of progressive IT experience with full application development lifecycle
  • Excellent communication skills, able to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and the ability to assess alternatives, risks, and benefits

  • Strong DevOps background with a focus on security and automation
  • Hands-on experience with:
