This full-time position consists of three 12-hour shifts (36 hours/week) at our EmUrgentCare site in Saugerties, NY, with some reimbursable travel required.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Prepare and provide excellent care to patients undergoing radiologic procedures and perform diagnostic x-ray exams following established protocols.
- Ensure accurate patient identification, anatomical selection, and adherence to safety protocols during exams.
- Maintain and log detailed records of completed radiologic procedures, including scheduling in the computer system.
- Keep examination rooms and equipment clean and well-maintained at all times.
- Gather essential patient vitals and brief medical histories.
- Guide patients to their examination rooms, ensuring efficient room setup for optimal patient care.
- Oversee the ordering and re-stocking of medical supplies.
- Support medical providers and front desk functions as part of a collaborative team.
Qualifications:
- Graduate from an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
- Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
- Possess applicable state licensure as a Radiologic Technologist.
Experience:
- Demonstrated ability to perform basic x-ray procedures with a thorough understanding of anatomy, physiology, and body mechanics.
- Knowledge of radiology equipment, including common safety hazards.
- Effective communication skills to support diverse patient populations, including children, adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment as a proactive team player.
- Exemplary customer service skills.

- Perform routine diagnostic imaging procedures in support of the assigned area and as requested by a licensed medical provider
- Responsible for adhering to policies, procedures, and regulations to ensure patient safety
- May provide clerical support for the assigned department to include, but not limited to filing, maintaining records, answering phones, scheduling appointments, and entering data into computer
Qualifications
Job Requirements
- Associate's Degree in Radiologic Sciences or Graduate of an Accredited Radiologic Program
- Knowledge of Anatomy, Physiology, and Radiation Safety procedures.
- ARRT or registry eligible; Radiologic Technologist Certificate issued by the State of NM. *Employees employed in or prior to 1972 and licensed by the State of NM are considered grandfathered and exempt from ARRT requirements
