General Responsibilities:
- Provides clinical direction and supervision for the University Health's inpatient and outpatient dialysis program.
Qualifications:
- Ideal candidate will have 3 years of both inpatient and outpatient experience.
- Current RN license in the State of Texas .
- Bachelor’s degree required; Master's degree in Nursing is preferred.
- Two years’ experience as the clinical nurse supervisor/charge nurse/administrator and /or director of a free standing or hospital dialysis unit is required.
- Three or more years as the administrator/director of a multi-system dialysis, operation is preferred.

As a Dialysis Nursing Specialist at US Renal Care, you'll play a vital role in a dedicated team, supporting patients dealing with kidney disease. Under the guidance of a Charge Nurse, you will oversee and collaborate with Patient Care Technicians (PCTs) to ensure exceptional patient care.
Your Responsibilities
Patient Care: Provide safe, comfortable, and high-quality dialysis treatment. You'll conduct and document thorough physical assessments before and after treatments, monitor patients throughout their care, and maintain high standards of renal health by reviewing medication profiles and administering medications as prescribed.
Teamwork: As a key member of an interdisciplinary team, you’ll contribute to comprehensive patient assessment and care planning. You’ll also help ensure that center staffing needs are satisfied at all times, following the direction of the Administrator and adhering to state staffing regulations.
Safety & Quality: Working alongside the Charge Nurse, you will comply with all company policies, state and federal regulations, and participate in mandatory staff meetings and continuing education opportunities to enhance patient care.
What We Seek:
- Valid nursing license in your state.
- Ability to distinguish between primary colors.
- At least one year of current nursing experience preferred.
- Experience in dialysis preferred.

As our RN Dialysis Supervisor at CHI Williston Health, you will maintain regulatory standards and standard of nursing practice, and be directly responsible to the Director in assessing, planning, implementing, evaluation, and supervision of unit activities according to unit policies and procedures. All the criteria-based duties and standards within this document will be performed according to the policies, procedures, and guidelines of the Medical Center.
+ Act as a role model through support of the Medical Center's mission and values by promoting and enhancing the Journey Beyond Excellence expectations.
+ Maintains nursing guidelines by writing and updating policies and procedures.
+ Assures quality of care by establishing hospital and nursing division's Standards of care; enforcing adherence to other governing agency regulations; measuring health outcomes against standards; recommending adjustments for hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis, CRTT, and therapeutic phlebotomy.
+ Complete hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis event report follow up, monitoring, and education as appropriate.
+ Collaborates with leadership to maintain staff by assisting in recruitment and selection of nurses and completion of the orientation process.
+ Maintains nursing staff job results by coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.

**Job Requirements**
**Education and Experience**
+ Nursing degree from an approved school of nursing; BSN, Required.
+ Minimum of two years of nephrology nursing experience, Required.
**Licensure and Certifications**
+ Registered Nurse: Nort Dakota (RN:ND), Required.
+ American Heart Association Basic Life Support - CPR (BLS-CPR), Required.
