PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Analytics & Insights
  • Develop and deliver recurring and ad hoc performance reports focused on conversion drivers, traffic patterns, customer behavior, and funnel metrics.
  • Serve as the primary resource for Helzberg.com KPIs, pulling data from tools such as Google Analytics, ContentSquare, and internal dashboards.
  • Partner with eCommerce, UX, Marketing, and Merchandising to identify opportunities for improved customer engagement and sales performance.
  • Create and maintain dashboards and presentations that communicate key KPIs and behavioral insights to stakeholders and leadership.
  • Translate data into actionable recommendations that support strategic initiatives and business growth.
Tagging, Governance & Testing
  • Ensure accurate data collection by validating tags, troubleshooting issues, and maintaining documentation-leveraging the Data Layer and collaborating closely with IT, QA teams, and third-party partners.
  • Manage tagging-related tickets and bug resolution with IT and third-party partners.
  • Support UAT (User Acceptance Testing) for new site features, enhancements, and fixes to validate proper data capture.
A/B Testing & Optimization
  • Collaborate with E-Commerce, UX, Merchandising, and Marketing to ideate and prioritize A/B test opportunities based on data and observed friction points.
  • Recommend test variations and execution based upon heuristics, online comparative research, and industry best practices.
  • Support test planning, QA, execution, and post-test analysis to validate performance improvements and inform future optimization efforts.
  • Translate test outcomes into insights and recommendations that guide ongoing digital enhancements.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Statistics, Economics, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in digital analytics, preferably in a retail environment or eCommerce background.
  • Proficiency in digital analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics); experience with heatmapping/behavioral tools (e.g., ContentSquare); and experience with A/B testing platforms (e.g., Optimizely).
  • Working knowledge of data layers and tagging implementation.
  • Strong skills in Excel; experience with data visualization and BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Snowflake, BigQuery) is preferred.
  • Strong communicator with the ability to translate complex data into business insights.
  • Critical and strategic thinker; ability to understand all available information, synthesize, and communicate approaches and analysis clearly and concisely.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities with internal teams and external vendors.
  • Hybrid schedule with predictable onsite attendance required three or more days per week to perform essential functions involving interactive behaviors with co-workers and managers, operation, or manipulation of equipment and/or materials located only on site, and direct interaction with internal and/or external customers.

What You'll Be Doing

You'll lead the charge in uncovering actionable insights and shaping the future of our digital experience.

Performance Analysis & Strategy
  • Conduct deep-dive analyses to uncover trends, behaviors, and opportunities that drive eCommerce performance.
  • Translate complex data into clear, strategic recommendations that influence decision-making.
Insight Communication & Collaboration
  • Present findings and insights in a clear, compelling way to leadership and cross-functional partners.
  • Collaborate across departments to align on goals and optimize the customer journey.
Reporting & Dashboard Development
  • Build and maintain dashboards and reports that provide visibility into digital performance.
  • Ensure leadership has access to timely, accurate data to inform strategy.
Measurement & Tracking Enhancements
  • Lead the strategy for tracking new site features and enhancements.
  • Scope and implement analytics improvements to support evolving business needs.
Data Integrity & Quality Assurance
  • Own the accuracy of digital analytics through rigorous QA and data validation.
  • Ensure tracking is reliable and consistent across platforms.
What You'll Need

Reporting to the Director of Consumer Innovation and Capabilities, this position's primary responsibilities will include data analytics to provide strategy recommendations for the deployment of digital initiatives to improve customer experience. The position is within the Consumer Asset Management (CAM) Analytics team in Auto Finance which is focused on managing the delinquent customer. A key part of the role involves business impact analysis and building strategy recommendations. In addition, the role will include requirement gathering, stakeholder alignment and tracking project delivery. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail oriented, proactive and inquisitive, with a passion for driving results by challenging the status quo.

The Work Itself

  • Monitoring and analyzing digital behaviors and providing analytical insights to internal stakeholders
  • Work closely with Data Analytics, Strategy, Digital and Technology partners to improve the customer experience in collections
  • Leverage solid data analytical skills to recommend digital strategies to increase customer engagement and conversions; including analyzing open and click rates, payment patterns, data integrity, etc.
  • Lead champion and challenger test strategies or conduct benefit analysis to estimate business value
  • Use critical thinking approaches to identify growth opportunities across multiple digital channels and technology platforms
  • Validate project delivery using post-deployment checks, reviewing business requirements, tracking performance, and tracking defects/enhancements
  • Manage priorities using sound control processes and documentation to effectively identify, assess, and manage risk

The Skills You Bring

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Operations Research, Economics, Business, Finance, Computer Science, or a similar discipline with some quantitative coursework required
  • 1+ year(s) of experience in data driven consumer insights with a focus on analytics and strategy. Preferred experience with digital or marketing products and features, and A/B testing.
  • Ability to function as a product owner or SME. Strong attention to detail. Good at communicating analytical insights clearly and concisely to individuals from diverse backgrounds.
  • Highly inquisitive. Extremely detail oriented. Challenges the status quo; seek improvements. Extremely collaborative, works well with teams, and is proactive to address business needs.
  • Manipulate large and unstructured data sets. Maintain documentation of data metrics and be able to present the material to leaders.
  • Strong data analytics experience (1+ year(s)) with tools like Snowflake, SQL, PowerBI, Excel, etc. Build and run queries to solve business problems. Conduct data analysis independently.

Preferred:

  • 1+ year(s) of consumer analytics such as marketing or digital analytics, measure campaign successes, consumer interaction, customer journey mapping, etc. Experience with data, key metrics, reporting and conducting ad hoc analyses. Identify data outliers, process flaws, etc.
  • Familiar with Scrum framework and willing to learn the Agile process including gathering requirements, grooming, sprint cycles, and user acceptance testing. Optimize product lifecycle through continuous feedback.
  • Experience in automotive or financial services industry, especially in collections, loss prevention, and recovery areas.
  • Effective time management and organization skills. Comfortable with ambiguity and able to handle multiple projects at the same time.
  • Understanding tag management systems for digital data collection. Experience with Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics or similar.
