**Job Description**
We are seeking a data-driven and detail-oriented Digital Analyst to join our growing Insights, Digital and Analytics team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing digital metrics across all platforms, defining and managing data feeds, and delivering actionable performance reporting. Your insights will directly influence our digital advertising and marketing strategies, helping us optimize campaigns and drive measurable results.
Key Responsibilities
+ Digital Metrics Development: Design and implement KPIs and performance metrics across web, mobile, social, and paid media platforms.
+ Data Feed Management: Define, validate, and maintain data feeds from various digital sources (e.g., Google Analytics, social media platforms, ad servers, CRM systems).
+ Performance Reporting: Build and automate dashboards and reports to track campaign performance, user behavior, and ROI.
+ Cross-Platform Analysis: Analyze data across multiple digital channels to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for optimization.
+ Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, media, and product teams to translate business goals into measurable digital strategies.
+ Tool Utilization: Leverage tools such as Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms.
Qualifications
+ Experience: 3-5 years of hands-on experience in digital analytics within digital advertising or digital marketing environments.
+ Technical Skills: Proficiency in web analytics tools (e.g., GA4, Adobe Analytics), tag management systems, and data visualization platforms.
+ Analytical Mindset: Strong quantitative and analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and communicate findings clearly.
+ Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to present insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.
+ Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications
+ Experience with SQL, Python, or R for data manipulation and analysis.
+ Familiarity with A/B testing and conversion rate optimization (CRO) methodologies.
+ Knowledge of digital media buying platforms (e.g., Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager).
The salary range for this position is: $102,085.00 - $132,110.00. Gilead considers a variety of factors when determining base compensation, including experience, qualifications, and geographic location. These considerations mean actual compensation will vary. This position may also be eligible for a discretionary annual bonus, discretionary stock-based long-term incentives (eligibility may vary based on role), paid time off, and a benefits package. ABOUT THE TEAM

The Data and Analytics team is all about seeing the beauty in numbers. We are the go-to team when it comes to analyzing the quantitative success of our work and finding the research needed to reach client goals. No milestone is too great for us, as we have all the tools and expertise to help our campaigns be as amazing as they can possibly be.

Responsibilities
  • Manage and integrate data from a wide variety of sources, including (but not limited to) Web, Media, Rx, Market Research, Payer, Coupon/Co-Pay, Sampling, Social, and CRM
  • Work closely with internal (Analytics/Account/Engagement Strategy/UX) and external (Media Agency, 3rd Party vendors) partners to develop disruptive customer insights and recommendations based on learnings from the data.
  • Develop & maintain detailed documentation of deliverables
  • Serve as the subject matter expert for the context of the data
  • Responsible for ongoing web analytics implementation & QA utilizing tools such as Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, and Google Tag Manager
Qualifications
  • BS in a quantitative field (such as Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, and Engineering) required
  • 3-5 years working in an advertising agency, healthcare or pharma setting, or an adjacent role/field that is relevant to required skillsets
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to extract the context of the data through standard data analysis methodologies
  • Advanced Excel Skills
  • Experience with Web Analytics Tools, including Implementation (Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics)
  • Experience with survey and/or social listening software such as Netbase QUID and business intelligence tools such as Tableau or DOMO preferred
  • Motivated to learn new tools, techniques, and platforms
  • Professional work ethic (accountable, reliable, honest)
  • Demonstrated ability to deal with ambiguity & evolving business needs
