Job Summary:

As a Digital Product Manager , you will lead strategic development, growth, and performance of our website and Shopify shop. You will collaborate cross-functionally to deliver best-in-class digital experiences that drive customer engagement, design, conversion, traffic, and revenue growth.   • Experience in consumer direct-to-consumer (DTC) brands or retail.
  • Proven experience managing Shopify or Shopify Plus, including third-party apps and custom integrations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach.

JOB SUMMARY


The Director, Digital Product oversees the day-to-day activities related to program performance and execution of growth strategies in the digital channel with support from both internal resources and external gaming vendors. Implements and manages product objectives/strategies to provide optimum sales and profit results. Manages digital product team providing leadership and guidance to meet departmental goals and objectives.



ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Collaborates with VP, Products to develop, enhance, and maintain the Kentucky Lottery Corporation’s (KLC) suite of digital products, now and into the future. Partners with VP, Products to establish digital product goals and objectives, and devise product roadmaps aligned to KLC Strategic Plan and Business Objectives.


  • Manages all phases of digital product development lifecycle across cross-functional internal and external resources, ensuring alignment of delivery milestones and releases for all digital products including the iLottery instant play portfolio as well as web and mobile products.


  • Maintains knowledge base across industry benchmarking tools and broad e-Commerce/digital trends to inform the growth of the digital product suite. Collaborates with research team to execute regular cadence of research initiatives to inform digital growth.


  • Manages execution of the instant play product portfolio, ensuring alignment to program KPIs and defined launch schedule.


  • Leads cross-functional iLottery promotion working group consisting of internal marketing team stakeholders and external vendor partners to develop a thoughtful calendar of promotions that balance the objectives of player retention, engagement, and acquisition.


  • Works with internal and external marketing resources to develop, approve, and deploy player-facing communication and digital channel visuals (e.g. emails, website banners, etc.).


  • Leverages product usage data and knowledge of consumer needs to measure and report on performance of digital product suite, and to identify and recommend new product features or development opportunities.


  • Collaborates with product development peers to ensure effective deployment of digital product suite and capabilities in promoting KLC’s products, regardless of distribution channel.


  • Strategizes with internal and external stakeholders to grow digital product market share by improving conversion to play online and increasing loyalty among existing customers. Implements the design of promotional and player communication strategies for internet-based games. Provides reports on return on investment (ROI) and key metrics to key stakeholders. Available communication channels include email marketing, push notifications, content management on the website and interstitials.
  • Oversees operational management of digital program to ensure contractual compliance and consistent KLC brand experience with program’s customer call center and in-house customer support roles, including monthly reviews, process improvements, new opportunities, script additions or revisions, troubleshooting to resolve issues, etc.


  • Manages direct reports to support the development and execution of departmental goals. Mentors and develops staff using a supportive and collaborative approach on a consistent basis. Establishes and monitors staff performance and development goals, assigns accountabilities, sets objectives, establishes priorities, and conducts annual performance appraisals.


  • Provides support on additional projects as directed by VP, Products.



KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ EXPERIENCE


  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Sales, or related field preferred. Relatable experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree. MBA or other advanced degree a plus.
  • Minimum seven years’ experience in relatable field required.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and experience. Minimum five years’ experience in a managerial position including effective performance management, coaching, and counseling.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of digital and mobile trends and tools. Experience in leveraging digital solutions and data to drive growth.
  • Experience prioritizing and managing digital product roadmaps.

**Primary Purpose of Position**
The Digital Product Analyst is an entry-level role designed for individuals looking to grow into product management. This role supports the product team by documenting requirements, testing features, and assisting in backlog management. The Digital Product Analyst will also gain hands-on experience working with AI agents and learning how to draft and refine prompts as part of product delivery.
**Primary Duties and Accountabilities**
+ Assist in gathering and documenting business requirements from stakeholders.
+ Draft initial user stories and acceptance criteria under guidance from product leads.
+ Support backlog refinement sessions and help track story progress.
+ Write and test simple AI prompts to support product delivery and business workflows.
+ Collaborate with technical business analysts and developers to ensure smooth delivery.
+ Participate in user acceptance testing (UAT) and document test results.
+ Conduct basic analysis of product metrics and share insights with the product team.
**Minimum Qualifications**
+ Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, Information Systems, Data Science or related field and 2-years of experience in product management, business analysis, or related roles. In lieu of degree 6-years experience
+ Familiarity with business requirements, user stories, and product workflows
+ Exposure to AI tools and willingness to learn prompt engineering
+ Strong communication, documentation, and collaboration skills
+ Ability to regularly co-locate with working teams in an office setting
+ Travel required as necessary to meet business needs and in-person attendance for trainings, all-hands meetings, and other moments that matter
**Preferred Qualifications**
+ Experience in product management, business analysis, or related field
+ Familiarity with Agile practices and productivity tools
+ Experience prompting and working with LLM toolkits or applications
