Compensation

Compensation at Digital Foundry varies based on factors such as location, role, skills, experience, and market conditions. In compliance with California’s pay transparency laws, Digital Foundry provides a reasonable target base salary range for this role of $70,000 - $85,000 per year. 

Total compensation may also include performance-based bonuses, benefits, and other incentives.


Location & Work Environment

This role is part of the RS Digital Experience Team, a collaborative and fast-paced group focused on delivering exceptional online experiences for customers. As a key player in the team, the Digital Product Owner helps bring the product vision to life by translating ideas into actionable development work. About the Role

Role Purpose

The Digital Product Owner is a key member of the RS digital experience team, driving forward the implementation process for features and functionality for our website. Reporting to the Lead Digital Product Manager, the Digital Product Owner is responsible for working on the Agile team to support the implementation of valuable online solutions that drive KPI's. This candidate should be highly analytical, well-organized, well-versed in the SDLC and have excellent communication skills, and be very capable of working with a great degree of autonomy.

Responsibilities
  • Operate with a customer-first mindset, working on the Agile team to deliver value "early and often" to the customer
  • Collaborate with the Digital Product Manager and the Development Team to translate the product vision into actionable product backlog items.
  • Manage the full product lifecycle from start to finish - gather requirements, develop user stories and acceptance criteria, participate and drive backlog grooming sessions with the Development Team, coordinate with the design team for UX/UI, respond to development questions, and collaborate with the Product Manager and Development Team to plan releases.
  • Collaborate and communicate with the Digital Product Manager to gather requirements and feedback, provide updates, and ensure transparency.
  • View and manage helpdesk tickets related to the ecommerce experience and raise appropriate bugs or user stories to manage issues that customers may be running into
  • Consider change management required with new features, working with the business to facilitate any education and adoption that may be needed
  • Collaborate with the digital product management team regarding business priority and overall product vision
  • Develop strong relationships and manage engagements with third-party vendors

Essential Skills & Experience
  • Strong research and analytical skills, including the ability to structure problems for analysis, query data, and understand root cause
  • Experience working on a cross-functional agile team

  • Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong communications and interpersonal skills
  • Comfortable presenting in front of groups, including executive management

  • Knowledge and understanding of web architecture, web development, and usability
Desirable Skills & Experience

Essential Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree in Marketing, Business, Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering, or related area
  • 4+ years experience in an ecommerce product manager or owner role or relevant experience
