The Digital Project Manager, OnBrand will report to a Sr. Digital Project Manager and have responsibility for the delivery of integrated and digital campaigns. The successful individual will manage overarching project planning, creative strategy, creative execution, and production for digital experiences and integrated marketing campaigns. This person will work collaboratively with OnBrand strategists, creatives, producers, developers, and account managers as well as Amex marketers to deliver best-in-class digital creative campaigns.
To be successful in this role, the candidate must be solution-oriented and flexible. They should have experience creating, monitoring, and maintaining project plans for high-visibility initiatives requiring rigorous timelines with parallel workstreams and always seek to identify opportunities for improvement. The candidate must have experience working with creative, production, and account team leads and guide all participants to achieve the highest possible standards.
Day to day responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Directly manage creative planning, execution, and production for digital projects

Leverage channel specific digital best practices to inform digital campaign executions – CRM, websites, landing pages, media, social, etc.

Lead the project delivery success with the execution of digital experiences across various platforms such as OneCMS, Moveable Ink, & SFMC

Drive the execution of campaigns in channels such as social media, search engines and display advertising.

Collaborate and drive the development of comprehensive end to end digital project plans

Stay up to date with the latest digital marketing trends, technologies, and best practices
-
Work closely with project team leads to proactively manage end-to-end project delivery for a given set of projects

Ensure projects are delivered on time with the highest quality level

Proactively assess any risks and escalate any issues as needed

Manage handover of projects between the design studio and OnBrand teams, setting up project planning discussions, discovery facilitation, creative kick offs, creative, internal and marketer reviews and driving status meetings

Partner with Account Leads and Creative Strategists to ensure client requests are feasible and in-scope

Leverage agency systems and tools (e.g., Adobe Workfront) for overall work-planning, team communication, and project management

Minimum Qualifications:

5 years of experience as a Creative Project Manager from a leading creative agency or in-house brand

Strong knowledge of creative production (print, digital, OOH, branding, production)

Excellent follow through and ability to keep projects on track and delivered on time

We are looking for an experienced Digital Project Manager to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Minneapolis, Minnesota. In this role, you will guide cross-functional marketing teams through the adoption of Agile methodologies, transitioning from a hybrid Agile/Waterfall model to a more structured Agile framework. This position offers an exciting opportunity to promote collaboration, enhance team performance, and drive organizational agility.
Responsibilities:
Lead the transition of marketing and creative teams from a hybrid Agile/Waterfall model to a formal Agile framework.
Coach and mentor team members on Agile principles, roles, and practices to ensure successful adoption.
Facilitate Agile ceremonies such as daily standups, retrospectives, and planning sessions to enhance team collaboration.
Partner with leadership to develop Agile implementation strategies that align with business objectives.
Identify and address organizational or process-related barriers that hinder team performance.
Conduct training sessions, workshops, and one-on-one coaching to build internal Agile expertise.
Monitor team performance metrics to assess Agile maturity and recommend areas for improvement.
Act as a change agent to foster a culture of agility, innovation, and continuous learning.
Requirements
A minimum of 5 years of experience as an Agile Coach, Scrum Master, or Agile practitioner.
Proven experience in coaching Agile marketing teams or working within marketing environments.
Strong understanding of Agile frameworks, including Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, or LeSS.
Demonstrated success in leading Agile transformations from hybrid or Waterfall environments.
Excellent facilitation, coaching, and conflict resolution abilities.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and build relationships across all organizational levels.
