Essential Skills:
• Participate in review of legacy vulnerabilities and provide input as to priority.
• Understand existing security posture and challenges that we currently face (ATO/Stolen rewards)
• Evaluate current controls (WAF, Ping Identity, Riskified) and recommend improvements.
• Evaluate existing vulnerability scanning tools (Whitehat and Sonatype) against other tools being used in the industry. Recommend a first in class tool that can be used as single source of truth.
• Evaluate existing penetration testing (requires working with IT Sec team) recommend testing that could augment or replace existing testing.
• Stay abreast of latest 0 day or emerging threats propose mitigations.
• Participate in architectural and design reviews, ensuring that security is built into the processes from the start.

Internship Program Overview
The Polaris D&IT Infrastructure and Information Security Internship is a tailored 12-week paid summer internship designed for emerging juniors and seniors who are interested in pursuing a career in a leading global powersports industry.
As an Infrastructure & Information Security Intern, you will explore the foundational technologies and security measures that support and protect an organization's digital operations. This track offers a broad exposure to critical IT systems and security practices.
You may interact with:
Infrastructure User Support
You will engage with frontline IT support roles that ensure smooth day-to-day operations:
-L1 Service Desk: Handle initial user issues and service requests.
-L2 Client Support: Provide advanced troubleshooting and technical support.
Infrastructure Administration & Engineering
Work with teams that manage and maintain the core IT infrastructure:
-Server and Network administration
-Platform and Database management
-Collaboration tools and enterprise systems
Information Security
Support the protection of digital assets and secure operations through:
-Admin/Support: Manage access controls and security tools.
-Engineering: Design and implement security infrastructure.
-OT Security: Safeguard operational technology environments.
IT Compliance
Collaborate with Compliance Analysts to understand and apply regulatory standards. Learn how compliance supports risk management and ensures organizational integrity.
Internship Locations Include: Many D&IT Interns are based out of our corporate headquarters in Minneapolis, MN, but could also include Osceola, WI, Roseau, MN, Spirit Lake, IA, Huntsville, AL, Wyoming, MN, Battle Ground, WA, Wilmington, OH, & Vermillion, SD

This immersive experience brings together all US interns and DPs for professional development, structured networking, a DP graduation event, inspiring executive speakers, and a thrilling team ride on some of your favorite Polaris vehicles.

Final Presentations : present to our senior level leaders to showcase your career aspirations and recap your internship experience.
The Selection Process:
Applications are open from August -November each year. Applications will be reviewed and shortlisted candidates will typically be contacted for an initial phone screen by the end of November. Candidates selected to move forward will be invited to participate in a virtual panel interview with an identified HR business partner and functional leader. Successful candidates would move forward to an offer. You will partner with the Early Talent team in January to complete a survey that provides a deeper look at your specific interests, strengths & career goals. All s pecific internship assignments are communicated in February , after aligning based on your specific interests and business demand?
Intern Relocation Assistance:
Polaris offers a relocation program for interns who qualify through our mobility vendor. To qualify for these services your home address must be 35 miles or more from the office where you will be working. Benefits include a lump sum (grossed up to offset tax liability), access to a relocation counselor to explain the resources available to you and aid securing short-term housing available to you. Your responsibilities will include daily transportation to and from the office.

The starting pay range for Minnesota is $23.00 to $31.50 per hour, plus eligibility for overtime. Individual pay and positioning within the range are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills, and geography. While individual pay could fall anywhere in the range based on these factors, it is not common to start at the high end or top of the range.
To qualify for this position, former employees must be eligible for rehire, and current employees must be in good standing.
