**CNC Machinist (DIRECT HIRE)**
**Job Description**
In this role, you will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC mills, lathes, and occasionally wire EDM machines to assist in manufacturing and repairing custom tooling for customers. This is a non-production environment where tasks can vary weekly based on incoming orders for new tooling and tooling repair. You will also be required to program jobs conversationally at the controller on all machines.
**Responsibilities**
+ Set up and operate CNC mills and lathes.
+ Occasionally operate wire EDM machines.
+ Assist in manufacturing and repairing custom tooling.
+ Program jobs conversationally at the controller for all machines.
**Essential Skills**
+ Proficiency in CNC machine operation.
+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
+ Experience with CNC mills and lathes.
+ Skill in CNC programming.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Experience with wire EDM machines.
+ Precision grinding experience in a tool and die setting is a huge plus.
