Job Description:
The Director of Finance will support the General Manager of a Maritime business unit and will serve as a strategic partner and advisor to the leadership team. This position will report to the Director of Finance, Maritime. The Director of Finance will provide financial planning, program financial management and control services through a professional staff to analyze financial results, assess resource requirements, forecast planning for future growth, while controlling budgets, and generating reports on sales, cost of sales, profits, etc.
Essential Functions:

+ Manage overall Estimate of Completions (EACs) and profit impacts
+ Develop and present various ad hoc analysis and reports required to support Program Management Team and Sr. Management General Manager of the business area and requires latitude in exercising independent judgment and analysis to make decisions that will impact profits, working capital, cash flows, and financial position, while working without close supervision.
+ Analyze, review, and present every facet of the business, including such things as revenue, pricing, forecasting and taking the appropriate actions to achieve margin improvement and net profit improvement on every element of the business.
+ Establish and ensure compliance with financial policies, practices and procedures at the operating sites.
+ Establish appropriate business controls to engender an appropriate "results focus" in decision making.
+ Manage cash and treasury matters.
+ Ensure solid program and product line financial performance through early identification of operational issues and implementation of containment methods.
+ Bring financial and general management expertise to the division's leadership team.

Qualifications:
+ Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting or closely related discipline with a minimum of fifteen (15) years' experience in general financial management, to include general accounting, cost accounting and taxes, preferably in a commercial manufacturing environment. Or, Master's Degree in Finance, Accounting or closely related discipline with a minimum of thirteen (13) years' experience in general financial management, to include general accounting, cost accounting, preferably in a manufacturing environment. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 19 years of prior related experience.
+ Experience with Federal Government contracting requirements - Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR/DFAR), Defense Acquisition Regulations (DAR), and International Transfer of Arms Regulations (ITAR) required.
Preferred Additional Skills:
+ Excellent computer skills with strong proficiency in Microsoft Officepackage (Microsoft Outlook®, Microsoft Excel®, Microsoft Word®, Microsoft PowerPoint®, Microsoft Project®), Hyperion HFM/Planning and SAP ERP software a plus.
+ Detailed understanding of ASC 606, Revenue from Contracts with Customers Requires advanced business knowledge, general management and leadership capability to lead business area or functional teams.

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in Colorado State, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Vermont and New York State is $129K-$40K. For California, New Jersey, Seattle, Washington D.C., Maryland Greater Washington D.C. area, the city of Denver, Washington State and New York City, the salary range for this role is 148- 275K. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location. Purpose:
This is a financial leadership role within the Aesthetics US finance team accountable for the overall governance of both the Alle (Loyalty program) and APP (Allergan Partner Privileges) programs. Close to $1B budget to manage in allowances (APP, Alle, Brand Promotions. Will partner with several VPs (Digital and Multi-Channel Marketing, Sales Ops, Pricing, Marketing) who oversee the Alle and APP programs.
Responsibilities:
+ Understand financial impact of aesthetics market trends such as emergence of franchise models, online distributors, and accelerated consolidation via buying groups and dermatology roll ups. Partner with Pricing Strategy team and Sales Leadership to define strategies to align customers' business models to Allergan Aesthetics priorities while disincentivizing consolidation. Model risks and opportunities for various strategic options.
+ Collaborate with Pricing Leadership in formulating a contracting strategy that goes beyond volume discounting, improves sales margins, and builds a competitive moat as new entrants come to the market. Define what success looks like, identify clear performance metrics each account is measured against, and define what happens in case of contract under-performance. Partner with Legal and Compliance to formalize approach to ensure agreements are comprehensive, process is consistent and in line with terms offered for accounts with similar prospects
+ Establish effective business relationships within the organization and maintain knowledge of operating divisions. Identify and evaluate the organization's risk areas and provide key inputs on how those are to be addressed. Will be responsible for leading the Alle Governance strategy (design, lead and maintain)
+ Communicate and present results of audits and consulting projects via written reports and oral presentations. Evaluate and determine adequacy of internal controls. Prepare findings and recommendations for identified internal control weaknesses.
+ Coordinate with corporate SOX team to eliminate duplicate efforts and improve independent auditor's reliance on management's test work.

**_What Will You Do?_**
The Director of Finance is responsible for establishing internal controls, managing financial reporting, audits, and overseeing a finance team to ensure fiscal stability and regulatory compliance.
Core Responsibilities
- Establish, monitor and enforce internal control policies and procedures
- Serves as a liaison with senior leadership from accounting on matters of monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial results for multiple sites
- Oversee all general accounting activities, including corporate accounting and cost accounting for multiple sites.
- Ensure timely and accurate internal and external financial reporting in compliance with GAAP and regulatory standards
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports
- Manage budgeting and forecasting processes
- Maintain fixed asset records and oversee capital expenditure planning
- Lead and develop the finance and accounting department, including hiring and training across multiple sites
- Coordinate financial operations across international subsidiaries and business units
- Manage currency risk, transfer pricing, and international tax strategies
- Aligning financial practices with global supply chain and manufacturing operation
- Oversee the month-end closing process for multiple sites
- Manage internal & external audit requests
- Direct and Indirect reports - Transactional Accountants
**_Your Physical Work Environment Will Require._**
Sitting for several hours per day. Working on a computer several hours per day. Will require to walk through production sites as needed.
**_Your Experience Should Be._**
BA Finance or Accounting (MBA/Masters preferred, but not required)
- Minimum 10 years in General Ledger accounting, with strong understanding of GAAP
- Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with multiple ERP systems
- Leveraging multiple Enterprise platforms for financial control
- Willingness to travel across US and globally to support site-level finance teams
- Cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder engagement

The **Director, Finance** is responsible for overseeing and leading the finance function for our facility in Malvern, PA while being a key business partner to the Site General Manager and member of the Site Leadership Team. The **Director** , **Finance** frequently communicates with Division President, Division CFO, and Site Leadership regarding operational and financial matters.
Additional responsibilities include development of financial plans and policies, accounting practices and procedures, and the organization's relationship with stakeholders, both internal and external. The individual will provide leadership to the Finance function with overall responsibility for management and development of the department.

**The Role:**
+ Create, drive, and assist implementation of the site five-year strategic plan, setting financial milestones; set and deliver the annual budget
+ Direct and manage the accounting function, develop and maintain policies, procedures and budgetary controls
+ Develops and recommends annual site budget. Authorizes expenditures in accordance with budget and fiscal policy
+ Leads the monthly forecasting process, working with the site leadership team and presenting to Division leadership

+ Provides reports and interprets the results of operations to all levels of management; this includes the preparation of financial statements and operating data, the coordination of systems and procedures and special reports as required
+ Forecasts short-range and long-range working capital to ensure efficient use of Catalent cash; focus on working capital and cash conversion cycle to maximize free cash
+ Assures protection for the assets of the business through internal control, internal auditing, and SOX controls maintenance

**The Candidate:**
+ Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a directly related field, required
+ Professional designations (CPA, CMA) or additional education (MBA), preferred
+ Experience with Lean implementation, preferred
+ Minimum seven years of progressive finance experience; including at least three years of finance leadership experience with a medium to large organization
+ Expert knowledge in US GAAP concepts with a strong consultative but results oriented approach, required
