**Summary:**
The Director of Curriculum is responsible for the strategic design, implementation, and continuous improvement of undergraduate medical education programs. This role ensures curriculum quality, compliance with accreditation standards, and alignment with institutional goals. The Director collaborates with faculty, staff, and external partners to foster innovation, support faculty development, and enhance the educational experience for learners.
**Required Qualifications:**
+ Bachelor's degree in education, health sciences, or a related field.
+ Minimum of 5 years of experience in academic program coordination or curriculum management.
+ Strong organizational and project management skills.
+ Familiarity with educational systems, scheduling, and academic operations.
+ Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office and educational software platforms.
**Preferred Job Qualifications:**

**Responsibilities:**
+ Lead the scheduling and execution of pre-clinical and clinical coursework, including lectures, labs, small groups, and assessments.
+ Oversee the curriculum management system to ensure accurate tracking of learning objectives, instructional hours, and assessment data.
+ Support course and clerkship directors in developing curriculum materials, managing evaluations, and coordinating logistics.
+ Facilitate curriculum committee meetings, including agenda preparation, documentation, and follow-up on action items.
+ Supervise curriculum team members, including assistant directors and coordinators, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
+ Provide training and ongoing support to faculty and staff on educational technologies and instructional best practices.
+ Develop and monitor individualized faculty development plans aligned with departmental goals.
+ Promote faculty scholarship, continuing medical education (CME), and professional growth through structured tracking and support systems.
+ Build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders and external community partners to enhance educational programming.
+ Identify and pursue funding opportunities to support curriculum innovation and strategic initiatives.
+ Represent the department in advancing scholarship, educational innovation, and the mission of medical education.
+ Collect, analyze, and report data to evaluate curriculum effectiveness and inform continuous quality improvement.
+ Coordinate internal and external review processes and prepare documentation for accreditation bodies.
+ Collaborate with student services, IT, and administrative teams to ensure seamless curriculum delivery and a positive learner experience.
+ Develop and implement policies and procedures that support ongoing assessment, compliance, and refinement of educational programs.
