**Position Specific Description**
The Director, Development is a strategic leadership position requiring extensive experience in large-scale transmission permitting. This role entails overseeing a portfolio of projects within the PJM jurisdiction, with a primary emphasis on transmission routing, siting, and licensing. The ideal candidate will possess commercial acumen and a proven track record managing infrastructure projects. The successful candidate must have experience with financial due diligence, scheduling, budgeting, and successfully managing large transmission or other linear projects to completion. This role will be responsible for overseeing and driving progress on new electric transmission projects within the PJM region, leading projects through planning, routing and siting, permitting, and major project approvals. This position will also be responsible for leading and managing resource allocation, schedules, and technical accuracy, ensuring the project is completed in the most cost-effective, efficient, and competitive manner within the budget and schedule. Lead the development of renewable natural gas (RNG) projects from initial feasibility through commercial operation, managing complex multi-stakeholder agreements and ensuring successful project delivery within NextEra Energy's clean energy portfolio.

The **Executive Director, Development, Oncology** , will have responsibility for the leadership, management and implementation of fundraising efforts for the Oncology Service Line and for John Theurer Cancer Center (JTCC). The Executive Director will take a leadership role in identifying, qualifying, cultivating and soliciting major and principal gifts from grateful patients, corporations, trustees and friends of JTCC and the network Oncology Service Line. The ED will also work closely with HMH Foundation VPs and EDs to develop and drive strategies to raise funds through annual giving, planned giving, institutional giving and events. The Executive Director will be expected to contribute to the creation of long-term plans, annual budgets, and implementation of short- and long-term fundraising goals for Oncology. The position directly supervises one Director, providing mentorship and guidance to maximize fundraising outcomes and ensure alignment with organization priorities. In this leadership position, the Executive Director will interface with Board members across the Network and will work cooperatively with the Chairman and Executive Director of JTCC to ensure priorities are well-funded. The Executive Director will coordinate network-wide oncology-related fundraising initiatives with colleagues across the network.
