**Job Summary**
Dominion Energy is looking to hire Financial Analysts or Senior Financial Analysts to join our Metrics & Data Strategy team in Richmond, VA. This position will be filled at a level commensurate with the successful candidates' education, experience, knowledge skills, and abilities.
The incumbents in these roles will collaborate across teams to provide data, reporting, and analytical support to Dominion Energy Virginia's (DEV) Finance organization.
**Duties may include the following:**
+ **Financial Analysis:** Development of consolidated data, financial calculation and metrics, and reporting used in the analytics of DEV Finance
+ **Project Management:** Project focused work in collaboration with various Finance teams to determine targeted data needs, assist in reporting design, and provide technical assistance
+ **Validation:** Validate department-wide data sets and financials against source systems
+ **Process Improvement:** Identify, recommend, and implement continuous improvement and process transparency
+ **Monthly Closings:** Assist in required monthly financial closing processes, regulated filing submissions or interrogatories, and other Finance related functions as needed

+ 2-3+ years of directly related experience in Accounting, Finance, Accounting or Financial Planning Systems, Business IT Systems, or another related field

Position Scope:
Job responsibilities will include interacting with mill operations personnel on a day-to-day basis, as well as performing routine financial assignments. These assignments can include measuring progress against meeting various objectives, analyzing business results, developing an annual budget and preparing short-term forecasts.

Bowhead seeks a Financial Analyst (FA) who will complete and assist in various financial functions such as budgeting, auditing, forecasting, trending and analysis. The FA is responsible for creating, updating, and analyzing budget estimates for completeness, accuracy, and conformance with procedures and regulations.
**Responsibilities**
The FA will track project expenses, update spend plans and month end accruals as needed. The FA is also responsible for reporting, making recommendations, and analyzing project financial status on a monthly basis at a minimum; completing scheduled and ad hoc financial data calls for internal and external customers; and maintain compliance with company, contract, and federal/state applicable regulations and policies. They will interface with Program Management and Support Services in the execution of their duties on a regular basis. This position may assist in the preparation of proposals for new and existing delivery orders.
Specific tasks include but are not limited to:
+ Prepare cost estimates
+ Develop spend plans
+ Tracking actual obligations and expenditures versus planned using ERP and EDW
+ Update Cobra spend plans at least monthly, track financial commitments and expenditures, participate in month-end-close duties to ensure financial data is accurate and in compliance with GAAP
+ Compile financial data to provide to the Business Financial Manager to complete action items and data calls
+ May work with leadership within assigned unit for financial planning and analysis at higher level than stand along projects
+ Other duties as assigned to support Operational needs and goals
**Qualifications**

+ Five plus (5+) years professional finance or account experience
+ Bachelors degree from nationally accredited university in a related field such as Business, Management, Accounting, Finance, or Economics. Degrees in other fields will be considered with successfully completed coursework in business, finance/accounting fields. Can substitute Bachelors Degree with additional years of work experience and/or Associates Degree or applicable certifications.
+ Intermediate to advanced level skills in Microsoft Office software suite - Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint. Both desktop and O365 versions.
+ *ALL CANDIDATES WILL BE REQUIRED TO DEMONSTRATE EXCEL ABILITIES IF SELECTED FOR INTERVIEW.*
+ Intermediate to advanced level skills in basic computing skills including Windows-based systems and must be able to quickly and accurately perform data entry tasking in various software platforms.
+ Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of internal and external customers.
+ Strong interpersonal skills and good judgment with the ability to work alone or as part of a team.
Preferred Skills/Experience:
+ Understanding of various government contract types such as Costs Plus, Fixed Price, T&M. Understanding of basic accounting functions and regulations
+ Familiarity with Costpoint, Concur, Cobra, QlikView or similar systems
+ Active secret clearance highly preferred
+ Understanding of indirect rates drivers and ability to make recommendations to management on rate variance mitigation and management reserve/buffer
+ Experience with large, high employee count projects or new high employee & sub count projects
+ Leadership/Management experience or certifications. May be responsible for the training and/or mentorship of junior FAs
+ Minimum of two years working in the GovCon industry

Bowhead seeks a financial/budget Analyst to perform a variety of program support functions to CECOM Security Management Directorate (SAMD). The Analyst shall provide financial and records management on the Business Management Team.
**Responsibilities**
Essential functions will include:
+ Utilize DoD Financial Systems and other tools to develop, manage, and analyze budget and financial execution. This includes obligations, expenditure forecasting, monitoring, reporting, reviewing travel, and budget reports.
+ Support annual, multi-year and expiring operating budgets using DoD policies as directed. Review, track, and identify errors or variances in budgets. Resolve funding and programmatic issues pertaining to the execution of the budget. Perform budget execution tasks and prepare financial reports for reporting cycles. Review and monitor budget information in the Defense travel system (DTS).
+ Review and analyze spend plans prior to the execution of funding documents pertaining to the programs.
+ Prepare and track financial documents such as MIPRs and PWDs.
+ Track future and present appropriations. Monitor the allocations and forecasting.
+ Provide financial execution analysis during PMRs, financial management reviews and data calls as required.
+ Analyze and evaluate detailed plans, goals, objectives and resolution for current and long-range implementation of planning, budgets and fiscal responsibilities.
+ Conduct special assignments which involve financial research and fact finding.
**Qualifications**
+ Bachelor's degree (preferred)
+ 1-5+ years of relevant experience.
+ Proficient in using and navigating Excel, with the ability to efficiently manage data, create formulas, and generate reports
+ Experience in providing financial analyst/budget analyst support.
+ An understanding of how to conduct financial research to determine what data is missing orinaccurate.
+ Strong critical thinking skills, self-starter.
Nice to have:
+ Experience with active financial management, including tracking available and obligated funding, and reconciliation of un-liquidated obligations.
+ Experience with financial line reconciliation
+ Experience working with DoD computer software and databases to track and manage financials, such as GFEBS, LMP, WAWF, EDA, DTS
+ Experience with MIPR's, PWD's, ULO's, NULO's, and status of funds (SOF) report to track program finances.
+ Experience working with Acquisitions for contract Mods, MIPR adjustments, and funding adjustments.
