The Inventory Control Associate will be accountable for deploying a rigorous inventory management program at Hamilton Kent, to include cycle counts, performing audits, root cause analyses and inventory adjustments while working cross-functionally with warehouse, procurement, manufacturing and logistics teams. The Inventory Control Associate will be responsible for inbound receiving of direct materials, ensuring handling units are printed and affixed as well as system receipts are completed. This person will collaborate extensively with the Distribution Center Manager and Distribution Center Coordinator to maintain inventory integrity, system alignment, and compliance.

Requirements

· Accountable for designing and deploying a rigorous inventory management program at Hamilton Kent DC's as well as 3PL sites.

· Responsible for inventory accuracy in SAP as well as maintaining a daily cadence of cycle counts ensuring that physical inventory matches system.

· Perform root cause analyses on inventory discrepancies and oversee corrective actions.

· Manage inventory movements in SAP (EWM & IM including direct and indirect receipt, HU creation, stock transfers, and other internal movements) within the DC when needed.

· Oversee the creation or deletion of bin locations in SAP

· Manage the flow of inbound raw materials from receipt to handover to manufacturing, ensuring creation and affixation of handling units as well as system receipt within 24 hours.

· Support month end activities with the production team, ensuring that direct receipt of raw materials is up to date and accurate.

· Collaborate cross functionally with shipping, and production teams to align physical and system inventory.

· Support site-level inventory procedures in alignment with corporate policies.

· Develop and report key inventory metrics and trends to site leadership and corporate inventory control teams.

· Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements related to material storage and handling.

· Support new product introductions, relocations, and cycle count projects

Education & Certificates

· High school diploma or GED required; associate or bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field preferred

Technical Skills & Experience

· 3+ years of experience in warehouse inventory control or a similar role, preferably in manufacturing or distribution.

· Able to drive a forklift and reach truck.

· Strong knowledge of inventory management principles and warehouse operations.

· Experience with WMS/ERP systems; SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite a plus.

· Proficient with Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools.

· Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.

· Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up-to 50 lbs and operating warehouse equipment (forklift certification a plus).

This Manager position will be responsible for leading a team of individual SCAs and SCMs, a group of individual contributors accountable for the overall life cycle of a subcontract, from the initial sourcing and acquisition strategy development through the solicitation, negotiation, award, cost and schedule management, subcontractor execution, and closeout steps.

· Drive efficiency improvements and risk mitigation in subcontract management by leveraging RCCA principles and advanced data analytics tools to identify trends and implement corrective actions.

**Qualifications You Must Have:**
- Typically, 8+ years of progressive supply chain experience, which includes 4+ years of management experience.

**Is the Supply Chain Development Program right for you?**
Our Supply Chain Development Program (SCDP) is an accelerated training program for college graduates who have the desire to excel in today's fast-paced Supply Chain environment. We will enhance your Supply Chain skill set by providing exposure to our various facets of Supply Chain and experienced leaders within a diverse Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) organization at both the corporate and plant level.
This program is structured to last 36 months and will allow for consistent growth and individual development opportunities. You will rotate through three Supply Chain functions during your time in the program. These rotations will vary based on business needs and your career aspirations. At least one rotation in a plant will be required. Some of your potential rotations could be in, but not limited to:
Manufacturing
+ Owns reliability improvement for an assigned production line using reliability tools that the Associate will be trained on throughout the program
+ Develops the operating teams' technical understanding and mastery of process control.
+ Verifies the accuracy of the operating equipment efficiency data and works with line leads, maintenance leads and other plant leads to address gaps
+ Owns results and loss reduction, as well as capability for assigned production line.
+ Owns personal action plans that drive improvement for the plants
+ Manages production staff to attain production and quality goals (including hiring and disciplining)
Engineering
+ Communication and coordination with multiple stakeholders (e.g., Operations, Finance, EHS and RQI).
+ External interaction will include, however, is not limited to, equipment vendors, construction contractors, engineering services contractors, and co-manufacturing organizations
+ For projects of various sizes, develops Front-End-Loading packages (FEL's) that are complete, clear, concise, and reflecting thorough due diligence to ensure project success
+ May manage small projects independently
+ Participate and execute experiments in plant trials
+ Work to develop subject matter expertise of the packaging principals and operating systems for assigned areas
Quality
+ Owns workstreams that support plant goals related to quality and food safety. Tracks progress and leads related project work
+ Completes industry recognized certifications to support compliance at the facility (ConAgra Certified Sanitarian, PCQI, and HACCP)
+ Identifies quality/food safety problems on the production line and works to resolve them
+ Owns assigned compliance activities such as record review, product testing, leading quality/food safety training
**Do you have what it takes?**
+ Bachelor's degree in programs related to Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, Supply Chain Management, Business Management, Food Science or Agriculture or a related program of study no later than June 2026 (January start dates available for December grads)
+ You desire to be a leader and grow within the Supply Chain function
+ You are able to relocate for a minimum of 1 year during the program. _Location preferences are taken into consideration in addition to business needs._
+ You can travel up to 20%

**Compensation:**
Pay Range:$59,000-$78,000
