Primary Responsibility :

Assists in maintaining an accurate record of inventory in order to prevent and resolve inventory discrepancies by allocating orders, releasing work to warehouse floor, balancing workflow, and ensuring outbound truck turn times are within acceptable levels for multiple departments/sites.

What You'll Do :

* Conducts annual site cycle counts.
* Reports on operational errors impacting inventory performance through incident reports and proficiency in Warehouse Management Systems.
* Responsible for new item setup (dimensions, weight, storage, automation, slotting) and forwarding pick setups (max/replenishment levels, multiple FPs, large movement, CAD, pick/replenishment type).
* Conducts various inventory tasks such as checking code dates, item rotation, exceptions, location labels, discontinued items, LIMBO loads, zero balance on hand (BOH) items, tipped pallets, adjusting inventory quantities, identifying problem locations, and communicating findings to Operations.
* Allocates product to outside storage to be either sent or retrieved based on capacity vs. demand, creating/verifying/relocating pullbacks as needed, and investigating/resolving discrepancies.
* Coordinates special events such as Direct Store Delivery events, holiday peak shaving, holiday kits, and product distributions.
* Ensures food safety by monitoring for cross contamination, HAACP, product temp, recall process, inventory checks, communication, handling of product, and code date/tolerances.
* Ensures receiving proficiency by creating/closing report control numbers, adding POs/items, calculating/entering catch weights, OS&Ds, and researching discrepancies. Identifies incorrect product when product is on bill but not on PO, and coordinates rejections, zoned product, crossdocks, receiving paperwork storage, and inbound appointment scheduling.
* Interacts with operations regarding miscellaneous shipping and receiving issues during the shift for packaging changes, slot moves, missing door drops, and forward pick exceptions.
* Ensures open lines of communication between employees, management, multiple 3rd parties, and buyers/merchandising.
* Performs equipment tracking by checking in/out operational equipment.
* Arranging pick-ups for donations, transfers, vendor returns, and product disposals.
* Manages order cuts/adds and communicates with stores as appropriate.
* Prioritizes individual Lift Truck Operator (LTO) tasks along with Dock Supervisors.
* Resolves order product shortages by creating handbills and ensuring shipment when directed to do so.
* Evaluates effectiveness of systems and recommends changes where appropriate.
* Trains users on relevant systems.
* Performs other duties as needed, requested, or assigned.

What Experience and Education You Need :

* High school diploma or general education degree (GED) plus one (1) year warehouse experience; or equivalent combination of training and/or experience.
* Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel, preferred.
* Demonstrated knowledge of a Warehouse Management System (WMS) preferred.

**ROLE SUMMARY:**
Dollar Shave Club is looking for an awesome Inventory Control Specialist to join our team in Grove City, OH. This role will perform cycle counts throughout the facility and make sure we keep track of amazing products that keep our customers looking and smelling their best!
**RESPONSIBILITIES:**
+ Perform cycle counting functions in support of the Inventory Management team
+ Assists Operations with monitoring inventory levels in outbound areas, such as Pick to Light, Mega Flats and Mini, and assists with restocks as necessary
+ Assists with Inbound shipments (Receiving) and assists with Outbound shipments (Shipping)
+ Communicates Cycle Counting progress with Inventory team and identifies issues that need addressed

**QUALIFICATIONS:**

+ 1+ years of experience in inventory management or related role, including experience with computerized inventory systems required
+ Forklift operator certification preferred / not required
+ 1+ years related experience and/or training concerning Inventory Control
+ Experience with warehouse management systems
+ PC literate with experience with Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel

**Inventory Management & Operational Excellence**

+ Direct master scheduling for finished goods and accessories and lead the development of inventory objectives and annual operating plans.
+ Establish and manage KANBAN-based replenishment systems for kits and purchased parts, ensuring timely availability and flow.

+ Drive strategic inventory initiatives, including supply market analysis, new part introductions, and continuous policy improvement.

**Training & Field Support**
+ Act as a liaison between inventory functions at the Piqua Distribution Center, field branches, and service trucks to ensure cohesion, consistency, and visibility across the enterprise.
+ Partner with the field organization to ensure parts inventory is optimized at all levels (distribution center, branches, and trucks) to meet organizational service goals.
+ Provide proactive, ongoing training and communication to parts personnel and operational managers in field locations, reinforcing best practices in inventory control and continuous improvement.
**Cross-Functional Collaboration**
+ Lead a cross-functional effort with purchasing and strategic sourcing teams to assess risk, analyze inventory, and establish inventory strategies across all channels-supplier, Distribution Center, branch, and truck levels.
+ Partner with Purchasing on SKU rationalization based on sales trends, cost analysis, and viable substitutions.
+ Collaborate with Engineering, Operations, and Finance teams to support accurate implementation of product changes and financial planning related to inventory.
**Strategic Mindset & Accountability**
+ Provide a proactive and holistic view of inventory performance and trends-actuals, mid- and long-term goals-in terms of dollars, SKU count, and inventory turns.

General Responsibility: Develops, manages, and leads production planning for both internal and external finished goods. Job Description Summary:

Excel skills needed for this role. Receives and inputs data information into an Excel Spreadsheet. Maintains and revises data as necessary and keep correct data. Other clerical duties and tasks may be required. This is in a production environment: walking around hourly to collect the data needed to enter the excel spreadsheet.
This position is responsible for entering product status updates in Microsoft Excel on an hourly basis in production throughout the plant and helping other operations functions. Will also update and enter information into database (Oracle). Individual will need to wear PPE and walk to different buildings to collect information.

An excellent Inventory Manager would be an expert in implementing strategic relationships with our customers, employee engagement integration, and inventory processes flow optimization. Key pillars of this role include operational excellence, productivity improvements, change management, excellent systems experience and exceptional leadership.


Responsibilities:

People Management:

  • Builds, develops, and leads a management team and staff capable of carrying out organizational objectives.
  • Ensure that all levels of employees receive on-going to ensure compliance with Company requirements and policies.
  • Recommend personnel actions (hire/fire/promotions/increases).
  • Use well documented corrective disciplinary measures in a timely manner as applicable.
  • Ensure direct and indirect reports receive frequent feedback on performance, including an assessment of performance in the first 90 days and a formal performance review on an annual basis thereafter.
  • Maintain an environment of development and recognition.
  • Coordinate scheduling of personnel to ensure proper staffing to receive and distribute products/materials at the facility in a productive and cost-effective manner. Monitor attendance, tardiness, etc. that impact productivity.

  • Coach and train colleagues to ensure high performance from teams.
  • Leads a team that provides operational expertise in contracted services while providing hands-on execution management of operations.
  • Translating the organizational policy into operational management.

Operations

  • Ensure proper and efficient inventory control within the overall operation and the budgeted guidelines.
  • Manage all inventory processes within the contract and SLA agreements.
  • Ensuring efficient management of the inventory based on productivity and KPIs.
  • In partnership with Finance, manages a budget and assists in the design of improvements to optimize financial performance and operational productivity.
  • Ensures compliance with Bleckmann's standards of operation always including safety standards and Bleckmanns Business Conduct Policy.
  • Drafting and monitoring productivity reports, initiating actions if necessary.
  • Drafting and monitoring processes and procedures. Improve overall inventory accuracy, accountability and reporting achieved by ensuring best practice process and procedures are in place
  • Minimize and mitigate risk exposure to Bleckmann and the client by improving the focus on inventory control and its financial benefits ensuring accurate accounting for our clients assets
  • Responsible for all inventory control customer communications.
  • You are co-responsible for matters in the areas of HR, QEHS, facility and security.
  • Communication effectively to the GM or VP
  • Work with the GM or VP on structure, strategy, vision and the future of the site
  • Coordinate work assignments for team.
  • Ensure daily productions goals.
  • Monitor production output and ensure adherence to Bleckmanns Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
  • Create, Implement, and distribute accurate reporting on area efficiency and customer fulfillment activities.
  • Verify accuracy of all inbound/outbound shipments.
  • Identify and implement processes to ensure the facility meets or exceeds budget requirements.
  • Manages compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations and codes and maintains all associated records and reports.

Safety, Sanitation and Security

  • Ensures all subordinates meet and follow safety training requirements.
  • Follows rigid housekeeping and sanitation policies/practices by applying the 5S Lean methodology to sustain a safe, clean and orderly facility.

Qualifications:

  • Must have 4-5 years experience in warehouse inventory.
  • Must have 1-2 years experience in a 3PL environment.
  • HS diploma or equivalent required.
  • Knowledge of inventory control management and distribution service operations.
  • Ability to effectively schedule labor and carriers.
  • Ability to train and enforce company safety programs as it relates to OSHA regulations and company safety standards.
  • Computer P/C and software knowledge
  • Solid command of English, both written and verbal.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to multitask and meet multiple deadlines.
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
  • Ability to effectively interact and communicate with a diverse workforce.
  • The ability to focus on client and customer services, entrepreneurship, and building and growing a strong business is essential to success in this role.
