About This Role:
World Distribution Services is currently looking for a dedicated, detail oriented person to join our family as an Inventory Control Coordinator for our growing warehouse operation in Savannah!
The Inventory Control Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring inventories are both accurately reported within our WMS (Synapse) as well as physically in the warehouse locations. They will be responsible for identifying, researching, and correcting inventory variances, as well as assisting in the training of new hires on proper handling of freight within the warehouse. Duties and Responsibilities:
- Run inventory reports and queries out of WMS
- Perform post receipt audits
- Perform cycle counting
- Complete customer cycle count reporting
- Troubleshoot variances and identify gaps in the process
- Assist in creating SOPs to ensure processes are followed and inventories are accurate
- Assist in the training of new hires
Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- WMS knowledge and RF experience
- Computer Proficiency
- Excellent Math Skills
- Verbal and Written Communication
- Organization skills and attention to detail
- Must be driven to work both on their own and within a team
- Must have multiple years in a warehouse environment (preferred 3PL)

**Position Summary:**
Provide operational leadership to individual contributors and hourly workforce to ensure the execution of daily tasks and activities including, loading/unloading of trailers, cross-docking, and customer service operations in a manner consistent with company services and cost objectives. Supervise most processes directly including workforce and equipment scheduling. Responsible for making corrective action and disciplinary decisions up to written warning level. **Shift** : The hours are Sunday- Wednesday; 4:30 pm- 3:30 am. Leadership members are to be present 30 minutes prior to the start of shift and may have to work on off shift as needed. Flexibility required around the peak season, holiday, short staffed, and business needs.

+ Partner with external agencies, such as law enforcement, as needed to address security concerns or incidents.
+ Act as a liaison between the asset protection team and other departments to foster collaboration and support Company goals.
**Data Analysis & Reporting**
+ Utilize data to identify trends, assess risks, and evaluate the effectiveness of asset protection initiatives.
+ Prepare and present reports on security incidents, losses, and operational improvements to
+ leadership.
+ Review of WMS, YMS, and various other reporting tools to identify exceptions and course correct when necessary.

Associate's Degree Preferred
**Licenses/Certification/Registration:**
Wicklander/Zulawski Interview Training Preferred
**Experience:**
+ 2+ years of experience in asset protection, loss prevention, or a related field, preferably in a distribution or logistics environment managing teams of 15+ associates.
+ Strong understanding of security systems such as CCTV, Card Access, and Burglary Alarms.
+ Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
+ Effective communication and interpersonal skills to build trust and collaboration across teams.
**Preferred Qualifications**
+ 3+ years of relevant experience in a similar role
+ An associate's degree in criminal justice, business management, or a related field is desirable.
+ Experience with incident investigation and crisis management.
**Physical Requirements:**
+ Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, nights, and weekends, to support a 24/7 operation
+ _This role is fast-paced and requires a mix of office-based and 'on-the-floor activities', including walking or standing for extended periods of time. Frequent travel between assigned distribution sites may be expected. This travel most commonly will fall into a 25-mile radius. Occasional travel to peer sites to support critical business needs or attend off-site meetings can also be expected. Travel of distances greater than those described is limited but could occur infrequently based on business needs. This travel may include visiting third party Pool Points._
