Position Responsibilities: 
+ The Inventory Control Manager will oversee daily inventory control operations within the distribution center, including cycle counting, physical inventory, and managing product loss and damage, while serving as a liaison between supply chain, suppliers, and the distribution center to ensure timely and quality supply to customers
+ Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment while maintaining high standards of personal and operational excellence
+ Lead the hourly cycle count team to drive improvements in safety, quality, inventory accuracy, and team productivity
+ Serve as the liaison between supply chain and the distribution center, partnering with logistics, supply chain services, and shipping to achieve service and profit goals
+ Schedule and plan physical inventories, reconcile variances, and provide detailed reports to relevant departments
+ Ensure adherence to policies to minimize product loss and damage, manage vendor credits, and maintain proper warehouse slotting for efficient shipping operations and order fulfillment
+ Other duties as assigned
Required Education and Experience: 
+ Bachelor's Degree with 5 plus years of related experience and 2 plus years of management experience or High School Diploma/General Education Degree (GED) with 8 plus years of specific experience and 3 plus years of management experience

+ Reconcile work order entry on a daily basis
+ Provide support to operational teams regarding inventory process and training to support proper inventory movements

+ Participate in/lead continuous improvement projects as assigned
+ Perform daily walk through to identify misplaced items, items in the wrong POU, validate FEFO utilization, and provide feedback on material organization to leadership.

+ High school diploma; some college preferred.
+ 2-5 years' experience in a warehouse environment required.

Position Overview and purpose

Monday - Friday 7 am - 3:30 pm

An Inventory Control Coordinator assists in stock taking, monitoring inventory and performs inventory control responsibilities in order to assist in the coordination of the incoming and outgoing of product.

Essential Functions and Basic Duties

  • Update and review all inspections and corrected inventories.

  • Perform scheduled cycle counts by reviewing documentation and verifying against perpetual stock in inventory.

  • Generate reports and documentation to research failure activity (e.g., missing stock, unscheduled product moves, non-executed scheduled product moves and more).

  • Update inventory based on results of failure research by entering data into WMS following appropriate Arcadia policies and procedures.

  • Generate follow-up reports to verify accuracy of adjustments.

  • Research for customer claims.

  • Participate in all scheduled audits by counting, researching, adjusting, and generating reports.

  • Verify item set-up and integrity in dimensions, code dating and UPC’s. Evaluate set-up and slotting to best assist all areas of Arcadia operation including Receiving, Warehousing and Shipping.

  • Analyze inventory imbalances through research and physical checks to improve inventory integrity.

  • Identify process improvement and opportunities for change.

  • Print and purge monthly master lot, store one month locally in binder.

  • Supply all lot information on cut orders (i.e., tally previous pulled orders).

  • Audit product availability error report.

  • Comply with and ensure compliance with Company policies and safety procedures.

  • Monitor all automation equipment and controls to ensure proper inventory levels and accuracy.

  • Maintain a safe work environment.

  • Perform other duties and special projects as needed.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and 2-3 years of warehouse inventory-related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.

  • Knowledge of cataloguing inventory techniques and packaging of goods.

  • Basic technological knowledge and the ability to operate a PC.

  • Good organizational and time management skills.

  • Strong communication and analytical skills.

  • Ability to work independently and coordinate with other departments of the organization.

Our Mission

JW Pepper distribution center is hiring to fill several positions in order processing and inventory stocking. This is a full-time position, 40 hours a week. All applicants must be flexible to accommodate seasonal overtime needs, which include some evening and Saturday hours. Starting wage $16.00 an hour. Applicants must successfully pass all pre-hire screenings, including background checks and drug tests.

Job Description

The inventory control position is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory. Associates are responsible for tracking and allocating inventory as it comes into the warehouse, handling damaged and defective product appropriately, taking active and preventative measures to prevent errors and discrepancies, research product movement and history within the warehouse and communicate with management with issues and recommendations. In an effort, to provide the highest level of customer service, all warehouse associates will be cross trained to be proficient in the areas of order fulfillment, quality control and shipping, and other basic warehouse functions.

  • Daily stock put away
  • Daily cycle counting
  • Daily restocking and reslotting of product
  • Maintain and update accurate inventory records
  • Reporting and solving discrepancies between physical counts and computer records

Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) continues to expand its global data center footprint, delivering some of the industry's largest and most complex builds. The Data Center Inventory Control Management (DCICM) team ensures that inventory is tracked, deployed, and governed with the highest standards of accuracy, compliance, and efficiency.
We are seeking an IC4 Technical Program Manager to oversee Global build projects, reporting directly into the Global DCICM leadership team. This role will focus on build material deployment, inventory governance, and third-party logistics (3PL) oversight, ensuring our largest data center programs maintain operational readiness and audit compliance.
This position carries a high level of accountability and autonomy. The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to manage material lifecycle execution, drive accuracy and efficiency across builds, and partner effectively with vendors and internal stakeholders worldwide.
**Key Responsibilities**
+ **End-to-End Inventory Tracking & Deployment:** Own execution of material deployment activities across assigned builds, ensuring inventory accuracy, timely delivery, and governance against DCICM standards.
+ **3PL Management:** Oversee third-party logistics operations, ensuring compliance with Oracle's chain of custody requirements, service level agreements (SLAs), and quality standards.
+ **Build Support:** Partner with construction, engineering, and operations teams to align material flow and inventory readiness with aggressive build schedules.
+ **System Accuracy & Compliance:** Ensure all inventory transactions, movements, and deployments are captured accurately within Oracle systems; maintain audit-ready records.
+ **Risk Management:** Anticipate material and logistics risks, proactively developing mitigation strategies to protect build timelines and operational continuity.
+ **Stakeholder Engagement:** Act as the primary inventory control contact for regional builds, providing regular updates to global DCICM leadership, project teams, and external partners.
+ **Continuous Improvement:** Identify and drive opportunities for process automation, efficiency gains, and standardization in material management practices.
+ **Governance:** Enforce global inventory policies while tailoring practices to regional build realities; ensure compliance with security, safety, and operational standards.
**Required Skills & Experience**
+ **Program/Project Management:** Proven ability to manage large-scale, cross-functional programs with measurable outcomes in a fast-paced environment.
+ **Inventory Management Expertise:** Strong understanding of material flow, inventory accuracy, reconciliation, and audit requirements.
+ **3PL / Vendor Oversight:** Demonstrated experience managing third-party logistics providers and ensuring SLA/governance adherence.
+ **Analytical Skills:** Ability to interpret inventory data, highlight trends, and drive improvements across material deployment and accuracy.
+ **Risk & Issue Management:** Skilled at identifying risks early, building mitigation plans, and maintaining project alignment.
