We are looking for a detail-oriented Inventory Control Specialist to join our team in Apopka, Florida. In this Contract-to-Permanent position, you will be responsible for managing inventory processes, ensuring accuracy in record-keeping, and supporting accounts payable operations. This role is ideal for professionals with experience in inventory management who thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Process parts orders with precision and ensure timely entry into the inventory system.
- Organize and maintain critical documents such as packing slips, purchase orders, and vendor returns.
- Accurately post incoming parts to the inventory management system.
- Code vendor invoices with appropriate references to support accounts payable operations.
- Handle the removal of parts and cores from the inventory system for vendor returns.
- Coordinate the return of parts to vendors and ensure credits are properly applied.
- Support general inventory operations and assist with additional tasks as needed.
Requirements
- Proven experience in inventory control or a related position.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

**Position Purpose:**
Warehouse associates are the foundation to our company's success. They work actively, safely, and independently to maintain the efficient flow of products through our distribution process, while ensuring quality standards.
As an Inventory Control Coordinator, you will monitor and maintain the accuracy and adequacy of Operating Company inventories. The Inventory Control Coordinator compiles and maintains records of quantity, type, and value of material, property, equipment, merchandise, or supplies.
**Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:**
+ Counts material, equipment, merchandise, or supplies in stock and post total inventory records.
+ Compares inventories to office records or computing figures from records.
+ Verifies clerical computations against physical count of stock and adjust errors in computation or investigate discrepancies.
+ Compiles receipts or disbursements of materials, equipment, merchandise, or supplies.
+ Monitors inventory rotations and make recommendations as needed.
+ Prepares report(s) such as inventory balances, weekly cycle counts, and production breakdowns.
+ Reviews and investigates daily reports.
+ Maintains shrink at or below company standard.
+ Prepares list of depleted items and recommends survey of defective/unusable items.

1+ years of inventory experience in a warehouse environment
Ability to communicate information accurately and apply strong math skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office programs and intermediate general computer skills
Must be able to work the scheduled / assigned times and required overtime for the position.

Client is currently seeking a Logistics Specialist in Orlando, FL. The Logistics Specialist will be working in a warehouse environment with duties that include but are not limited to processing orders utilizing SAP, Inspection and Receiving, Packing, Shipping, Stocking material and other duties assigned by team leader.
Key Areas of Responsibility:
- Receive incoming Materials utilizing SAP.
- Inspects for damage, verify quantity and correct paperwork.
- Processes material to be shipped to our customers around the world.
- Stocks Materials and pulls Materials from stock.
- Ensures Materials for shipment are packaged properly.
- Locates and counts Materials in support of cycle counting/inventory.

ABOUT THE ROL
S&S Activewear is seeking an inventory control associate to perform counts and recounts, verify inventories and report discrepancies. The Inventory Control Associate will be responsible for maintaining the physical order and accuracy of company inventory.
COMPENSATION & SCHEDULE
$16 per hour
Monday - Friday (5AM - 1:30PM), Full-Time, Non-Exempt
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Operate all material handling equipment needed to perform primary role (stock-chaser).
- Perform and complete daily safety inspections check list for all equipment used.
- Effectively utilize/operate and navigate the data collection equipment used in the department (RF Scanners, Tablets, etc.)
- Perform discrepancy counts, recounts and user created cycle counts as assigned and directed.
- Provide assistance support to all other functions within the department such as Case Pick, Restock, transfer, pulling, staging and checking.
- Maintain or exceed minimum productivity requirements CPH – count per hour.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Must be 18 years of age
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Ability to read and speak English
- Must have reliable transportation
- Ability to follow detailed instructions
- Ability to operate a warehouse equipment and machinery
- Must be comfortable using electronic devices
- Can lift and carry up to 50lbs on occasion with or without reasonable accommodation
- Basic math skills, ability to count, add, and subtract numbers quickly and accurately
- Ability to identify colors, sizes, quantity, label, and SKU information
- Must be flexible with start and departure time changing
- Ability to work overtime when needed

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
In performing this job, the employee must stand and walk for an 8+ hour shift. Additionally, the position requires frequent grasping, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, and handling of items with hands and arms, up to 50 lbs. Moderate hand-eye coordination, near vision, far vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, adjusting focus and hearing.
WORKING ENVIRONMENT
- The job will be performed entirely in the warehouse where conditions can range from warm to cool.
- The job will be performed around warehouse machines and equipment with a moderate level of noise.
- Employee must be able to work in a high-volume, high-demand environment while meeting strenuous customer deadlines.
