We are seeking a WAREHOUSE ASSOCIATE to join our team in Fullerton, California! Our Warehouse Associate performs an array of functions that include, but aren’t limited to, loading and unloading shipments, vaulting and un-vaulting shipments, inventory control and other general warehouse duties.

Responsibilities for our Warehouse Associate include but are not limited to:

  • Assist with shipping, receiving, unloading and loading trucks;
  • Move trailers in and out of the docks;
  • Moving materials and items from storage areas to shipping designated areas;
  • Pad wrapping and paper pad wrapping furniture;
  • Vaulting and un-vaulting shipments;
  • Use the warehouse locator system using Asset Controls windfall program for commercial and residential goods;

The successful candidate for this position will share the following knowledge, skills and abilities:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent (preferred);
  • CDL Class A License (or able and willing to get a CDL Class A License) (required);
  • 1-year warehouse experience (required) (Moving & Storage experience is highly preferred);
  • Forklift certification is a mandatory expectation of this position. Existing certification is preferred, but the company will train if the desired candidates does not possess;
  • Basic computer skills and a working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite;
  • Experience in the safe operation of forklifts, reach trucks, pallet pickers, and other material handling equipment;
  • Ability to multitask in a fast paced, stressful environment;
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills;
  • Strong organizational and time management skills;
  • Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen;

Physical Requirements for our Warehouse Associate include:

Job Description

Our distribution network is built to deliver stock to our stores and fulfill direct-to-consumer orders with speed and efficiency. Merchandise is shipped to our distribution centers ("DCs”), where it is received and inspected before being shipped to stores or direct-to-consumer customers. The Distribution Center operation encompasses merchandise processors, material handlers, and power equipment operators.

Duties:

Support our Supply Chain division servicing Retail Stores and Direct to Consumer operations. Duties include picking, packing, and sorting merchandise utilizing warehouse equipment; auditing, storing and retrieving merchandise from storage shelves.

Required Qualifications

  • Ability to stand for up to 13 hours a day
  • Able to perform repetitive tasks such as bending, twisting, pulling, and reaching
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 30lbs repeatedly
  • Ability to meet productivity requirements
  • Capable of adapting to technologies (RF scanners, voice picking and new systems) 
  • Previous experience preferred

Shifts Available:

This is a full time position with overtime available on the following shifts

  • 1st Shift: Mon-Thurs, 6:00 AM - 4:00 PM or Mon-Fri 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM
  • 2nd Shift: Mon-Thurs, 4:00 PM - 2:00 AM or 3:00 PM - 1:00 AM

Role & Responsibilities:

* Subject Matter Expert on all issues relating to the Pick, Pack & Ship operation for all Investigational Medicinal Products (IMPs)/Finished Kits out of the CSO New Brunswick.


* Single point of contact for R&D Logistics for all domestic and international IMP orders; ensure that a high degree of Customer Service is provided to R&D Logistics and other Clinical Supply Chain customers.


* Responsible for scheduling carriers to pick-up outbound IMP shipments; ensure that once picked and packed, orders are handed over to JLL (shipping dock) in a compliant and timely manner.


* Meticulously track and report the order volume for both domestic and international IMP orders.


* Responsible for assigning and supervising IMP Orders and related tasks to the PDTs and ensuring effective manpower utilization and re-prioritization of tasks. Primary point of contact for all PDTs regarding guidance needed to perform day to day activities.


* Responsible for inventory accuracy in the CSO Distribution warehouses in New Brunswick by ensuring that PDTs adhere to the prescribed processes and all transactions are reflected accurately in SAP. Additionally, ensure that the Cycle Count program is thoroughly managed. Also ensure that all expired/obsolete inventory is continually destroyed in consultation with the R&D Logistics Team.


* Support all receiving activities and maintain the appropriate documentation for the CSO NBR Distribution Operations.


* Ensure that PDTs are appropriately trained for the tasks that they are expected to perform and hold them accountable if the prescribed procedure is not adhered to.


* Ensure that the CSO NBR Distribution warehouses in Building 105 and Building 107 are professionally maintained on a day-to-day basis and are continually in an audit ready state.


* Responsible for processing purchase requisitions to order supplies to support the CSO NBR Distribution Operations. Ensure that all supplies (including panels, shippers, temptales, tag alerts etc.) necessary for successfully executing the pick, pack, ship operation are ordered and readily available.


* Ensure that all equipment within the CSO B105/B107 Distribution warehouses is regularly inspected and is in a usable and audit ready condition.


* Ensure that all assigned SOPs are periodically updated and any lapses in operations are promptly reported to CSPO Management and Quality. In case of operational lapses, actively facilitate the process of identifying the root cause, determining and executing the corrective action and effectively documenting them in the prescribed format in Infinity.


* Support the CSPO Management Team on process and productivity improvement initiatives as identified.



Experience & Qualifications:

* Undergraduate Degree in Science, Business, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain or equivalent relevant experience.


* 3-5 years experience in warehouse/logistics/dispensary operations in a biopharma setting, highly desirable.


* APICS certification preferred.

**Schedule:** Immediate 1st shift (Monday - Friday 6:00a-2:30p), 2nd shift (Monday - Friday, 2:30p-11:00p), and 3rd shift (Sunday - Thursday, 9:30p-6:00a) openings.
**Job Overview:** Associates will receive, store, and distribute material and products within the distribution center.
**Principal Duties & Responsibilities:**
+ Unloads, separates, counts, and verifies products received
+ Uses RF Handheld units to move products and/or load trucks
+ Assembles and secures customer orders on pallets in specified dock location
+ Replenishes materials in the cutting area
+ Uses machinery to measure and cut product
+ Assist with cycle counting
+ Supports the facility's quality program
+ Complies with all safety policies and procedures
**Minimum Requirements:**
+ Can perform basic reading, writing, arithmetic, and computer functions
+ Able to communicate and cooperate with other associates

**Physical Demand:**

**What does it mean to be a Logistics Associate?**
+ Demonstrate ability to confirm of transfer orders for shipments from the production floor to XFS and put product into storage by using the handheld scanner
+ Demonstrate the ability to retrieve a shipment from the Fiber Shipment buffer location. Demonstrate ability to Place Fibers in their proper Locations including white fiber. Understand what to do if a fiber is not in its assigned rack location.
+ Demonstrate ability to correctly pull the selected fiber from the rack for a specified order.
+ Demonstrate ability to perform fiber shipments (this includes delivery of fiber shipments to the cable plant and XFS, acceptance of shipments by the Fiber Room, and return of all spools and/or racks from the cable plant and XFS)
+ Demonstrate ability to Pull Inventory for shipments using a pick list.
+ Ability to safely follow all work instructions to meet all required production and quality standards of work.
+ Ability to stoop, bend at the waist, stand, and sit as needed to reach product while working (up to 12 hours)
+ Ability to have full range of motion in shoulders, arms, hands, and fingers for manipulation of product and work equipment.
+ Ability to safely life 50 lbs. on your own
+ Must be compliance to all safety, PPE, and regulatory requirements deemed necessary by position.
+ Other duties as assigned by supervisor or a member of management.

**Education/Experience:**
