Internship allows students to gain hands-on experience in areas such as marketing, human resources, information technology, sales, operations, finance, logistics, business development, merchandising, and/or other departments.

**Work Environment**
+ Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.
+ Frequent periods are spent standing or sitting in the same location with some opportunity to move about. Occasionally there may be a requirement to stoop or lift light material or equipment (typically less than 8 pounds).
+ Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.
**Education and Experience**
+ High School Diploma or GED strongly preferred.

**Job Description**
The Supply Chain Analyst I supports inventory management operations by executing and analyzing transactional data within the ERP (e.g., SAP) and WMS (e.g., Manhattan) systems, while also coordinating inventory movements between internal distribution centers and third-party logistics (3PL) providers. This role is hands-on and responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy, processing transactions, and ensuring data integrity across the supply chain. The analyst will also assist in identifying process gaps, building reports, and supporting system configuration and testing to improve inventory visibility and control.
**Job Duties**
+ Inventory Transactions & System Execution
+ Perform and validate inventory transactions in ERP (SAP) and WMS (Manhattan) systems.
+ Create and manage Stock Transport Orders (STOs), deliveries, and receipts to support inventory transfers.
+ Monitor inventory movements and discrepancies; support root cause analysis and resolution.
+ Maintain accurate documentation of all inventory transactions and approvals.3PL Coordination
+ Coordinate inventory movements between the Business Unit Distribution Center and 3PL providers.
+ Schedule and confirm pick-ups and deliveries with 3PLs and internal warehouse teams.
+ Serve as the primary point of contact for inventory-related communication between internal and external partners.
+ Conduct regular alignment meetings with 3PL and warehouse personnel.
+ Reporting & Analysis
+ Build and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports to track inventory performance and movement trends.
+ Generate and distribute inventory movement reports to stakeholders.
+ Maintain detailed records for reconciliation and audit purposes.
+ Process Compliance & Improvement
+ Ensure compliance with internal controls, audit requirements, and SOPs.
+ Assist in documenting current and future state inventory processes and workflows.

**Job Qualifications**
**Required:**

**What Sets You Apart (Background Requirements):**
+ Mid-level Engineer: A minimum of **2** **years** of prior relevant experience is required
+ Senior-Level Engineer:A minimum of **4** **years** of prior relevant experience is required; **Relevant experience is either working directly with an electric utility or an electric utility consulting company performing design engineering for electric distribution.**
+ Bachelor of Science in Engineering discipline (Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, or Industrial) from an ABET accredited institution; _additional relevant experience may be considered in lieu of bachelor's degree_
+ Experience and demonstrated proficiency with the National Electric Safety Code (NESC)
+ Some Prior experience with structural analysis, guying calcs, cable pulling calcs, coordination of protective devices, and electric demand and fault currents calculations.

**What Sets You Apart (Background Requirements):**
+ Mid-level Engineer: A minimum of **2** **years** of prior relevant experience is required
+ Senior-Level Engineer:A minimum of **4** **years** of prior relevant experience is required; **Relevant experience is either working directly with an electric utility or an electric utility consulting company performing design engineering for electric distribution.**
+ Bachelor of Science in Engineering discipline (Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, or Industrial) from an ABET accredited institution; _additional relevant experience may be considered in lieu of bachelor's degree_
+ Experience and demonstrated proficiency with the National Electric Safety Code (NESC)
+ Some Prior experience with structural analysis, guying calcs, cable pulling calcs, coordination of protective devices, and electric demand and fault currents calculations.

Overview
Position is responsible for the scheduling and resourcing of T-0 through T-5 schedule for both PL and contractor work. Responsible for scheduling all PES and failed equipment type work. Responsible for communicating / coordinating with customers the plans and expectations for the completion of PES work. Key competencies for this position include a good working knowledge of electrical distribution system and excellent communication and people skills.
