We are seeking experienced distribution designers to join our utility team in Owings Mills, MD. The role involves producing jobs independently with minimal training and supporting turnkey new business projects with electrical and gas components. The successful candidate will also help oversee and develop a group of less tenured designers and drafters.
Responsibilities
+ Design projects using Microstation software.
+ Conduct site walk-downs for pictures and field notes.
+ Coordinate job status updates with customer and client stakeholders.
+ Quality assurance for work completed by drafter team and junior designers.
+ Train and develop other drafters.
Essential Skills
+ Proficiency in Microstation.
+ Experience in distribution design and power distribution.
+ Ability to be productive with minimal training.
+ Experience in supporting turnkey projects.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience with BGE and Pepco projects preferred.
+ Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microstation Inroads.
+ Strong customer service skills.

Work Environment
