The Director of Supply Chain leads end-to-end supply chain operations, overseeing procurement, supply planning, MRO and services sourcing, sales, inventory, and operations planning (SIOP), and logistics. This role ensures the reliable and cost-effective supply of raw materials, including key commodities, catalysts, precious metals, and indirect spend, to meet production and customer requirements. Principle Accountabilities
Develop and maintain short- and long-term supply plans aligned with forecasted demand, production capacity, and inventory targets.
- Lead SIOP meetings to align cross-functional teams on demand, supply, and capacity decisions.
- Monitor forecast accuracy, inventory levels, and OTIF performance; recommend corrective actions to improve service and efficiency.
- Manage sourcing and purchasing of key raw materials, chemicals, catalysts, and precious metals.
- Lead MRO and services procurement to optimize costs, reduce obsolescence, and consolidate suppliers.
- Negotiate prices, terms, and contracts with suppliers to secure competitive and reliable supply.

Qualifications and Requirements
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree (BS) required in Supply Chain Management, business, economics, engineering, computer science, or related field.
- Masters degree (MBA or MS in Supply Chain/Operations Management) preferred for broader strategic and leadership expertise.
- 10+ years of progressive experience in supply chain management, including procurement, supply planning, and logistics, preferably in a chemical or process manufacturing environment.
- Proven experience leading teams (local or global) in a multi-plant or multi-site manufacturing setting.
- Strong knowledge of demand planning, production planning, scheduling, forecasting, inventory management, and MRP concepts and control.
- Exceptional analytical skills and tool experience (Excel, Pivot Tables, Access, etc.).
- Demonstrated ability to resolve complex planning and forecasting issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions.
