Responsibilities- Monitor all clinical records to ensure clinical quality, timeliness, and thoroughness/ accuracy of all clinical documentation daily.
- Ensure adherence to the clinical program requirements, including clinical documentation that adheres to local/state/federal laws and payor standards.
- Resolve any non-adherence of clinical documentation either by training and coaching the counselor who authored the document for same-day revision or by annotating the document oneself if the counselor is unable to resolve the documentation that does not meet requirements.
- Attend clinical team meetings and other assigned meetings.
- Complete all assigned training courses on schedule.
- Provide teaching and training to support clinical excellence.
- Ensure forms in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) meet applicable standards.
- Collaborate with the Information Technology (IT) team on EHR form development.
- Support accreditation processes, scheduling, and corrective action (when applicable) for the DR&A division.
- Oversee outcomes, processes, and ensure data integrity across the DR&A division while maintaining confidentiality of patient records/data.
- Develop training material and calendar to support continuous clinical excellence and ensure training material remains relevant to performance outcomes.
- Develop, implement, and maintain quality improvement standards, systems, policies, and procedures as applicable.
- Act as a resource to teammates to help solve problems related to quality of services.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Masters degree in Social Work, Psychology, Addiction Counseling, or other related field
- Independent Clinical License to practice in the field associated with the master's or higher degree

The Manager of Clinical Documentation works to strategically plan, organize, implement and evaluate the Compliant Documentation Management Program (CDMP) at AdventHealth. This includes management of the case mix index (CMI), length of stay (LOS), severity of illness (SOI) and risk of mortality (ROM) in cooperation with the Director of Clinical Documentation Improvement and all other operational hospital departments. The manager manages the Clinical Documentation Specialists (CDSs) in planning, implementing improvements, and re-evaluating processes to keep staff engaged and to assist in meeting department goals. This role will oversee the review processes of complex patients that vary in age and have different developments in the acute and chronic disease states. Must have proven leadership and management skills that will promote effective and efficient review of physician documentation that supports the patient's level of care and develop action plans for improvement. Role Summary:
In the Technical Documentation Coordinator role, you will be responsible for fulfilling the documentation requirements when an order is received and manage all documentation transmittals to client and sub-suppliers in order to fulfill customer needs. You will work directly with internal and external stakeholders to ensure all project documentation activity is regularly reported to the client and performed as per agreed technical specifications and project terms and conditions.
Work schedule: Monday to Friday from 7 am to 4 pm.
Location: Vernon, in Los Angeles area, CA.

Responsibilities:

Examine documents to verify completeness and accuracy of data and resolve discrepancies with document originators

Maintain a document control record management system and/or hardcopy documents to ensure compliance with all applicable and required standards

Process documentation through designated software in a timely manner

Provide efficient support to internal and external departments to meet the department goals, including support on customer key communications, key performance metric calculation, meetings arrangements, training coordination, agenda updates and other critical department activities.

Cross-training with other sites.

Maintain procedures and standards for document development production, approval, distribution and amendment

Ensure a "clean definition of documentation requirement" before commencement of work on an assigned Projects

Prepare a detailed Document List with a submission schedule at the commencement of each assigned project, maintain an updated Project Documentation schedule throughout the life of the project

Demonstrate ownership and accountability for total project execution performance & safety (project initiation to project completion) on all assigned projects
