As a **US FOODS®** Delivery Driver, you will be critical to the **US FOODS®** team and one of the important faces of our organization. As a Delivery Driver, you will have an impact on our customers by delivering our meats, produce, frozen goods, groceries, dry goods, equipment, and supplies to their drop-off sites. **What you bring to the table**

+ Must be at least 21 years of age.

+ Must have valid CDL Class A issued by the state of legal residence with necessary endorsements and DOT qualifications.

+ High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred.

+ Valid U.S. driver's license issued by the state of legal residence with proper endorsements if required

+ No more than two convictions in the past two-year period for traffic violations, no DUI convictions in the past three years, no driver's license suspensions in the past three years.

+ Minimum of six months of commercial driving experience (any industry) OR three months of driving experience in the food and beverage delivery industry required.

+ Must be able to pass DOT physical.

Job Title: Delivery Truck Driver Job ID: 78577 Location: Portland, Oregon Overview: We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Delivery Truck Driver to join a well-established hardwood distribution company. In this role, you'll be responsible for making local deliveries throughout Portland and the surrounding areas, ensuring timely and professional service to customers. What you will be doing:

• Safely operate a company delivery truck to transport hardwood products to customer locations
• Load and unload materials using proper equipment and safety procedures
• Review and verify delivery paperwork for accuracy

Position Title: Delivery Truck Driver
Type: Full Time / Hourly
Salary Range: Hourly rate commiserate with experience
Reporting Relationship: Reports to Warehouse Manager

Primary Responsibility:
Operates a truck that transports cargo to and from specified destinations. Prepares, receives and provides appropriate documentation for the delivery or pick up of goods to ensure timely service. Loads, secures and unloads cargo.

Primary Duties:

• Deliver/pickup cargo in a safe and timely manner
• Maintain telephone contact with warehouse coordinator/manager to receive delivery/pick up instructions or to receive notice of changes in scheduled delivery/pickup
• Maintain logs of travel and cargo according to federal and state regulations

Secondary Duties:

• Assist in vehicle maintenance
• Responsible for vehicle presentation
• Assist in warehouse operations as needed

Skills and Knowledge:

• Follow instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform function of position
• Establish and maintain positive and professional workplace relationships with co-workers
• Carry out all assignments with a professional demeanor

Minimum Qualifications:

• Valid Ohio Class B Commercial Driver License
