Waste Connections has an immediate position available for a **Cart Delivery Driver** at our location in **Edinburg, TX.** The hours for this position are from 6am-5:30pm. Once you have mastered these responsibilities and our needs grow, there would be opportunities for growth such as moving up into a route driver position!
Responsibilities include:
+ Drive truck to deliver and pick up recycling containers to current and future customers.
+ Assemble and repair plastic recycling containers.
+ Ability to effectively communicate and understand needed repairs and/or tasks.
+ Keep inventory of carts, wash them out as needed
Ideal candidate will possess:
+ Clean driving record.
+ Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED.
+ Must be able to lift 50lb minimum.
+ Work outside in all weather conditions.

13. Maintain inventory controls by collecting stock location orders, printing request, recording amounts of materials or items received or distributed manually. May also assist in counting of physical inventory.
14. Prepare material for distribution and other entities.
15. Responsible for off-loading, put-away, picking and staging of equipment and parts while providing professional quality customer service.

Requirements

License or Certification: Valid Driver's License Required

Must be at least 21 years of age for insurability purposes.

+ Drives company vehicle to deliver parts to AutoZone stores, including safe loading and unloading of parts
+ Ensures appropriate delivery documentation is generated and issued for each delivery, then appropriately filed
+ Ensures assigned company vehicle is kept clean and presentable
+ Inspects, protects, and maintains company assets, merchandise, and vehicles
+ Processes and restocks returns from route deliveries in a timely manner
+ Assists DIY customers between deliveries by performing the following duties:
+ Utilizing ZNET to help customers locate merchandise or find suitable alternatives
+ Maintains product knowledge and current promotions through AutoZone systems and information sources
+ Maintains store appearance and merchandising standards as directed
Requirements:
+ High School diploma or equivalent
+ Basic knowledge of automotive parts is required
+ Excellent communication and decision making skills
+ Ability to lift, load, and deliver merchandise
+ Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet the business needs, including holidays, evenings and weekend shifts

Amazon Prime is hiring drivers for our delivery operations. Drivers must be comfortable operating in a fast paced environment where they will be expected to quickly and efficiently deliver packages. Will be delivering using company vans (Ford Transit), no personal vehicles are allowed. Starting salary is $15/hr and you will have a 3 or 4 day work week.
