The ideal candidate will possess a Master's degree or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. A minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in automotive systems engineering, with at least 4 years focused specifically on autonomous driving or ADAS systems, is required. Proven experience in system design, requirements engineering, and model-based systems engineering (MBSE) using tools like MATLAB/Simulink is essential. Strong knowledge of C++, Python, and ROS is highly desirable. You must have a solid understanding of sensor technologies (LiDAR, radar, cameras), perception algorithms, path planning, and vehicle dynamics. Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills are critical for this role. Experience with ISO 26262 functional safety standards is a significant plus. This remote position requires a high degree of self-motivation, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, innovative environment.

**Qualifications**
To operate our company vehicles, you must have a minimum of a Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with HAZMAT, tanker, and air brake endorsements as well as a valid Medical Examiner's Certificate allowing for operation in interstate commerce. **Don't have the required endorsements yet? What You Will Do
Some core responsibilities for a Truck Driver include:
- Maintenance and repair of machinery as requested or required.

Some physical demands of being a Truck Driver include:
- Capable of working in outdoor weather and environmental conditions including extreme heat and humidity, extreme cold, and high elevations.
- Lifting and carrying awkward objects up to 60 lbs
- Standing for extended periods of time up to 11 hours per day. Breaks are given in 2.5 hour intervals
- Moving the entire body. Considerable use of arms, legs, climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, crawling, twisting, reaching, and bending on a regular basis.
- Must have good hand-eye coordination
- Use hands to handle, control, and feel objects and/or tools.
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- Valid Commercial Driver's License
- At least 6 months of experience driving a dump truck, cement truck, or other commercial vehicle
- Travel is a must with extended periods away from home in remote areas at times
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
- Must work in extreme heat, humidity, and cold conditions
- Must attend mandatory safety meetings
- Must work in a team environment
- Must work shifts up to 12 hours per day and 7 days per week
- Must meet basic physical requirements
