Alpha Omega is seeking a qualified Drupal Developer to join our talented and innovative team supporting the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA). The objective of the SAMHSA Web Content Management and Support contract is to provide enterprise-wide web content support related to the enhancement and maintenance of the consolidated SAMHSA.gov website, using the Drupal Content Management System, as well as for SAMHSA-related microsites, subsites, and subdomains that have not been fully migrated to SAMHSA.gov. This work encompasses content-related efforts for SAMHSA web initiatives including but not limited to Project Evolve and the SAMHSA Knowledge Network.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drupal development (front-end).
• Chatbot - node.js + AWS lambda + AWS architecture
• Performing and supporting Operations and Maintenance (O&M) web content updates on SAMHSA.gov and related websites based on new programmatic activities, enhancements for existing web content, input from subject matter experts and editorial boards, semiannual content refresh input from content owners, and changes to archive web content being migrated or decommissioned.
• Providing Drupal development and supporting functionality-related site improvements based on usability findings, metrics, user feedback, stakeholder input, and requests from SAMHSA staff and contractors for SAMHSA websites.
• Gathering and providing requirements documentation for website Development, Modernization and Enhancements activities, including specifications related to content, design, functionality, and use cases.
• Ensuring that the site meets all previously identified standards for content development and publishing, such as internal SAMHSA clearance, 508 compliance, plain language review, taxonomic tagging, and internal and external search engine optimization.

Salary and Benefit Information:

The likely salary range for this position is $95,000 - $35,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and competencies that align to the specified role, education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position and could fall outside of this range.
