We are seeking a skilled full-stack Drupal developer with at least 3 years of experience developing and maintaining advanced, enterprise-level Drupal web applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in both front-end and back-end development, coupled with a deep understanding of Drupal's architecture and best practices.

What You'll Do
  • Website Development: Develop and configure complex Drupal applications, using commonly used features provided by Drupal core and contributed modules.
  • Front-End Development: Create responsive, user-friendly front-end interfaces, using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, in custom Drupal themes.
  • Back-End Development: Build robust custom modules and integrate them with Drupal core and contributed modules.
  • Troubleshooting and Optimization: Identify and resolve performance issues, bugs, and security vulnerabilities in Drupal applications.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with UX/UI designers, project managers, and other developers to deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Code Reviews and Best Practices: Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
What You'll Bring
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience with Drupal development, including both front-end and back-end work.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Proficiency in PHP and MySQL.
    • Strong understanding of Drupal's core and contributed modules.
    • Experience with Drupal 8+, including custom module development and theming.
    • Solid knowledge of front-end technologies, including HTML, CSS, and Twig
    • Experience with version control systems such as Git.
    • Familiarity with deployment tools and practices.
  • Problem-Solving: Excellent troubleshooting skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Preferred Skills
  • Experience with front-end build tools and frameworks.
  • Knowledge of web accessibility standards and SEO best practices.
  • Familiarity with Drupal hosting platforms, such as Acquia and Pantheon.
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies.

Compensation and Benefits

Slalom is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. For this position, the base salary pay range for a consultant is $6,000 to 177,000 and the base salary range for a Senior Consultant for this position is 110,000 to 203,000. In addition, individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. Actual compensation will depend upon an individual's skills, experience, qualifications, location, and other relevant factors. The salary pay range is subject to change and may be modified at any time.

Job Description

Insight Global client is looking for a Drupal Developer to join their team to help lead an upgrade from Drupal 8 to Drupal 10. So far they have only done some high level design work and the plan on how they plan to do it. This person will be involved from the beginning. No one on this team has been involved in a migration of Drupal before, so they are looking for someone who can help lead this effort. This person should know all the scripting and understand the databases. This is a live application, so they will likely need to do a cutover.

-Experience working in retail area is desired
-Azure
-Adobe Experience Manager
-5-7 years of Drupal Developer Experience
-Experience leading Drupal upgrades of any version (they are upgrading from version 8-10)
-PHP experience
-Microservices knowledge
-Azure Devops and understanding of the pipeline-They should know the different commands, they should know the commands needed to update and go from Jenkins to Drupal for example.
-Java background could help
-HTML, CSS, Javascript
