As a Fab Engineer at Micron Technology, Inc., you will be working with a team of other process and equipment engineers responsible for starting up, developing and optimizing processes to improve product quality and reliability, working on process yield improvement, cost reduction, productivity improvement and risk management as well as resolving manufacturing line problems. This position will identify, diagnose and resolve process related problems by applying failure analysis, FMEA, 8D or SPC methodology. Additional responsibilities include coordinating and carrying out process, equipment and material evaluation/optimization to implement changes at process step, leading and participating in yield improvement and cost reduction activities, handling new process baseline qualifications and managing, auditing and liaising with material suppliers to achieve quality, cost and risk management objectives.

**Responsibilities**
+ Installation and qualification of the cutting-edge dry etch equipment in our new cleanroom
+ Dry etch equipment performance, including data analysis, preventative and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, and documentation
+ Collaborate with process engineers to identify and resolve equipment-related issues affecting production
+ Use project management skills to complete project milestones that close hardware gaps around equipment deficiencies
+ Establish productive vendor relations to maintain supplier engagement, driving best in class equipment metrics

**Minimum Required Qualifications**
+ 2+ years of industry experience working as Equipment Owner with Dry Etch equipment
+ BS or Masters in the Engineering field, equivalent military experience or AAS with 5+yr industry experience
+ Willingness to travel internationally for onboarding and training purposes:
+ **Onboarding training includes a 4+ month training period in Taiwan, followed by a full-time position in Boise, Idaho.**

Primary Duties & Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and optimization of dry etch processes (ICP, RIE) for compound semiconductor applications.
  • Drive process integration and improvement initiatives to enhance device performance and yield.

  • Establish and maintain Statistical Process Control (SPC) for process monitoring and optimization.
  • Evaluate and qualify new etch chemistries, hardware configurations, and process automation tools .

Education & Experience
  • Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D. in Materials Science, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or related field .
  • 5+ years of experience in semiconductor process engineering , specializing in dry etch (ICP, RIE) .
  • Strong background in etch chemistry, selectivity, anisotropy, and plasma physics for III-V semiconductor processing.
  • Expertise in GaAs and InP processing , including device fabrication challenges and best practices.
  • Hands-on experience with metrology tools such as SEM, AFM, ellipsometry, profilometry, and XPS for process verification and defect analysis.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with experience in data analysis, SPC, and DOE (Design of Experiments) .
  • Ability to work in a cleanroom environment and interface with cross-functional engineering teams.

Skills
  • Experience with high-volume semiconductor manufacturing or advanced R&D prototyping .

The responsibility of the Manufacturing Process Engineer is the tactical and strategic management of all engineering activities related to the assigned production team. The Manufacturing Engineer reports to the Process Engineering Manager.

· Design, run, test and upgrade existing and new production processes.

**What You Will Need to Succeed:**
· Bachelor's in Engineering, Manufacturing Technology, or related field. Advanced degree is a plus.
· Proven experience as a Manufacturing Process Engineer or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
· Leadership skills sufficient to effectively manage teams in completing and executing projects.
· Proficient in AutoCAD, Creo, MS Office Suite (excel, project, word, power point).

Grundfos is looking for a Manufacturing Process Engineer to join our team in Fresno, CA.
In this role, you will be designing and implementing systems and equipment for a specific production line and looking after the continuous improvement of the production process, product and equipment.
You will report directly to the APU Manager for Industry Operations and will operate out of our Fresno, CA facility.
**Your main responsibilities:**
+ Designing and implementing systems and equipment procedures used in the manufacturing facilities, testing and monitoring equipment.
+ Maintain product related master data and standard operational procedures, production documentation.
+ Create and maintain VSM and lead industrial productivity development activities.
+ Conducting risk assessments, testing new systems for efficiency.
+ Planning factory layouts to optimize production, analyzing process workflows.
**Your background**
We imagine that you have:
+ A Bachelor's degree in an Engineering field or equivalent experience.
+ At least 2+ years of experience as a Manufacturing Engineer, Process Engineer or similar.
+ Knowledge in welding process, machining, rolling, assembly, forming.
+ GD&T Knowledge, drawing interpretation (geometry analysis and tolerances).
+ Knowledge/experience in Lean Manufacturing (VSM, SMED, Std. Work, OEE).
+ Knowledge in 3D designing software (Auto CAD preferably).
+ Ability to work on the production/shop floor.
+ Ability to influence others.
+ Planning and organizational skills.
+ Excellent English communication skills (oral and written).
+ Systemic approach to problem solving and involving others.
