Reeves Construction Company is seeking an experienced individual for the position of Asphalt Distributor / Tack Truck Driver based our of ourDuncan, SC location. The successful candidate for this role will have an uncompromising focus on safety excellence.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Including, but not limited to:

  • The ability to operate the tack truck.
  • The ability to help the crew with shoveling and other task (when tack truck is not in use).
  • The willingness and ability to keep truck maintained and clean.
  • Heat tank prior to starting of work.
  • Shoot tack on road within specifications.
  • Set string line on edges of road if needed.
  • The willingness to work nights and weekends (if needed).
  • The ability to drive in a safe and consistent manner.
Qualifications, Education, and Competencies
  • Previous experience (preferred).
  • Valid Class A or B CDL (Tanker Endorsement) and good driving record.

Reeves Construction Company is currently seeking an individual for the position of Service Truck Driver in Duncan, SC. The successful candidate for this role will have an uncompromising focus on safety excellence.

Main Responsibilities
  • Must be able to oil, grease and fuel trucks and equipment.
  • Must have the ability to operate the vehicle safely in traffic situations and follow the policies and procedures of the company.
  • Must have skills to conduct pre-trip inspection checklist on equipment such as tires, lights, brakes, gas, oil, and water.
  • Must be able to handle paperwork concerning Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations, freight weigh bills, fuel tickets and load tickets.

Reeves Construction Company is currently seeking an individual for the position of Shuttle Buggy Operator based out of Duncan, SC. The successful candidate for this role will have an uncompromising focus on safety excellence.

Main Responsibilities

  • Must have a basic knowledge of the mechanics and hydraulics, and the limitations of the machine.
  • Must have skills to conduct an inspection checklist on equipment such as tracks, lights, brakes, fuel, oil and water.
  • Must keep equipment clean, lubricated, and in good working order, including good housekeeping.
  • Must receive and execute directions from the Paving Foreman or Superintendent.
  • Must operate the transfer machine in coordination with the dump man and Paver Operator to match the material inflow, on-board storage and material discharge to the paver to meet the prescribed mix and laydown goals, facilitating non-stop paving.
  • Must safely operate equipment in and in the midst of active traffic.
  • Must have a basic knowledge of abilities and limitations of the machine in all applications.
  • Must have the ability to operate the vehicle safely in job site situations and follow the policies and procedures of the company.
  • Must perform pre- and post-operation walk around inspections and report any mechanical issues that need more attention by maintenance personnel
Qualifications
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • High School Diploma or GED (preferred), but not necessarily required.
  • Minimum of 1-3 months of work-related experience and/or training.
  • Must be able to work day or night shifts.

We need someone who can follow well-defined procedures, use common sense, identify problems, troubleshoot, and work with test operators.
o Drive up to 6+ hours per day.
o Monitor systems on the car and follow procedures to calibrate & troubleshoot equipment in conjunction with assistance from test operator.
o Coordinating with members of the drive team daily to ensure data integrity, proper data transfer, and overall safety.
o Assist as needed with troubleshooting equipment over the phone & via email.
o Work with test operator & engineering team on open issues, reporting, & documentation.

-3+ years of professional driving experience
-Valid C driver's license and a clean driving record
-Technical aptitude for cars or mechanical machines/good at troubleshooting
-Go getter attitude, look for growth, eager to learn
-Clear communication skills both oral and written
-Able to work shifts that vary Monday-Sunday 7am-1am
-Hobbies: ATV, Motocross, car or motor vehicle hobbies are a plus null

Full time Driver Helpers needed for local beer distributor in Spartanburg, SC. Hours of operation are Monday - Friday with a start time of 6:00 a.m. and an end time that varies day to day, depending on when all deliveries have been completed.
