**Job Summary** :
The Early Career Program Analyst is a support role to enhance the effectiveness of early career and pipeline programs including apprenticeships, externships, internships, and rotational programs at Walgreens with the goal to increase team member engagement and retention.
They work collaboratively with execution stakeholders in talent acquisition, field operations leadership and pharmacy leadership to conduct sustainability reviews through data analysis, socialization, and feedback collection to create recommendations for continued programmatic improvements and modernization of existing early career programs.
They conduct program research, benchmark, design and development on new program proposals and updates to current programs with the goal of providing strategic insight to retain and convert talent from our pipeline programs into meaningful jobs.
They will bridge the gap between program execution and strategic oversight, focusing on seamless coordination, data-driven decision-making, and continuous improvement for early career initiatives with a focus on Pharmacy and Healthcare.
Job Responsibilities:
+ Oversees the full lifecycle of existing early career programs, including internships, externships, apprenticeships, preceptorships, and educational pipelines, ensuring alignment with talent strategy and organizational goals.
+ Researches, proposes, and supports the coordination of program events such as stakeholder & leader kick-offs, onboarding sessions, training workshops, mentorship opportunities, and networking events.
+ Collaborates across stakeholders on new program development for critical talent populations
+ Serves as the primary liaison between program participants, internal stakeholders, and external partners, facilitating clear communication and positive relationships.
+ Tracks and analyzes key program metrics, including retention rates, conversion to full-time roles, and participant satisfaction through development of dashboard/actionable metrics review.
+ Provides leadership with regular reports that highlight trends, actionable insights, and program performance against benchmarks.
+ Develops and maintains dashboards to monitor program success.
+ Collaborates with HR, talent acquisition, and business leaders to localize programs while maintaining alignment with the broader framework and organizational objectives.
+ Works closely with educational institutions, community organizations, and industry partners to build and refine best-in-class programs.
+ Partners with talent acquisition branding and communications teams to effectively promote programs internally and externally, enhancing visibility and appeal.
+ Acts as a point of contact for program participants, offering guidance, support, and addressing any concerns throughout their program journey.
