Position Overview

The Professional Education Manager will lead the design and execution of surgeon education programs that drive clinical adoption of Maxx Orthopedics’ systems. This role combines strategic program development with hands-on management of domestic and international training events, including responsibility for surgeon travel and logistics.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, plan and manage professional education initiatives such as cadaver labs, workshops, national & regional symposia, and digital training for orthopedic surgeons.
• Coordinate faculty engagement, speaker agreements, and honoraria for such activities in alignment with Maxx Orthopedics’ standards and industry compliance.
• Manage travel, accommodations, and logistics for surgeons and faculty attending such U.S. and international training programs.
• Ensure all activities meet compliance requirements (AdvaMed, Sunshine Act, GDPR, and local regulations).
• Design effective training programs that reduce the learning curve and facilitates the smooth adoption of newer technology the company introduces.
• Partner with Sales, Marketing, and Clinical Affairs to align education strategy with business goals.
• Monitor budgets, measure program outcomes, and report on effectiveness.
• Build relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs) and training centers to strengthen Maxx Orthopedics’ US presence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree or healthcare background preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in professional/medical education, clinical training, or healthcare event management.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Previous experience (2-3 years) in the management and coordination of clinical trials or regulatory submissions is essential.
• In executing the responsibilities of this position, intermittent, scheduled domestic and international travel will be required (30% total).
• Knowledge of orthopedic surgery, implants, or medical devices strongly preferred.
• Strong understanding of industry compliance standards.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and project management skills.

As a _Clinical Education Manager_ at Galen College of Nursing, you will assist with the negotiation and arrangement of clinical experiences for all students enrolled in prelicensure nursing programs. In addition, this position provides oversight of the clinical experience to effectively integrate standardized clinical learning activities and student evaluation.
**Key Responsibilities:**
+ Coordinate and supervise the operation of clinical experiences to provide clinical learning experiences according to established learning outcomes.
+ Assists faculty and staff with preparation for clinical experiences including required clinical compliance documentation for students and faculty as well as facility-specific orientation requirements according to facility deadlines.
+ May serve as faculty substitute in the facilitation of clinical experiences as needed.
+ Assists with standardized clinical faculty and staff orientation and development in collaboration with campus and college leadership.
+ Establishes and maintains relationship with representatives of clinical agencies to maintain a variety of clinical sites appropriate for student learning outcomes.
+ Oversees and assists with hiring, performance appraisal, and mentoring of clinical faculty and staff under the direction of campus leadership.
+ Assists with negotiating and arranging clinical experiences in alignment with the established clinical site selection criteria.
+ Identifies agencies for clinical experience that are appropriate to support course student learning outcomes and collaborates with campus leadership to establish clinical learning opportunities.
+ Oversees clinical site development and clinical scheduling to enhance nursing student experiences.
+ Oversees the implementation of clinical experience surveys in collaboration with College and Campus clinical learning leadership for continuous quality monitoring and improvement.
+ Performs walkthrough surveys of clinical sites and experiences and reports findings to college and campus leadership.
+ Makes recommendations for curriculum and clinical learning activity changes to the curriculum council and the Director of Clinical Learning based on research and identified needs identified when performing oversight in the clinical learning environment.
+ Communicates and integrates college-wide policy and process changes regarding clinical learning standardization and implementation.
+ Attends Student Advisory Committee meetings and reports feedback to college and campus leadership for the purpose of continuous quality monitoring and improvement.
+ Assists with the resolution of student and/or faculty concerns regarding clinical experiences in collaboration with college and campus leadership according to established policy and processes.
**Position Requirements:**
Education: **Minimum qualification of an MSN** , or a BSN with at least two (2) years' experience in clinical education, with nursing background and knowledge that includes an understanding of the educational objectives and experiences of student nurses, an understanding of the clinical practice of nursing, knowledge of the diverse organizational environments in which nurses practice, and knowledge of the types of clinical sites needed to meet course content and objectives.
Unencumbered Licensure: Applicable state as a Registered Nurse.
Special Qualifications: At least two (2) years of recent clinical experience, excellent organizational and problem-solving skills, strong oral and written communication skills, ability to interpret learning experience needs of students and match them to the capabilities of clinical placement agencies, excellent interpersonal communication skills with the ability to be creative and innovative, and proficient computer skills in order to collect and analyze data.
Must agree to obtain CNEcl certification within one (1) year of acceptance of position.

As the Clinical Education Manager, Orthodontics you will ideally have a strong background in curriculum development, with proven experience designing comprehensive orthodontic education pathways. This includes collaborating with key opinion leaders (KOLs) to support content creation, such as presentation materials and clinical education decks.
You will often fill the role of train-the-trainer, delivering operational support for optimal customer onboarding and product training to our external customers. Additionally, this position will collaborate with sales, sales training, marketing, R&D, operations, and the customer care teams globally to provide overall educational support to serve SureSmile customers.  A high level of competency of an orthodontic treatment planning software navigation, functionality, clinical applications, toolsets, practice integration, features and updates as implemented is imperative. 
Key Responsibilities:
+ Lead the development of structured educational pathways and curriculum tailored to orthodontic professionals, ensuring alignment with customer learning journeys and business goals
+ Collaborate with KOLs and subject matter experts to co-develop clinical presentations, lecture content, and training materials

+ Assist with webinar trainings for local, regional, division, and global learners

Community Education Manager

Horizon Health is seeking a community education manager for the inpatient behavioral health unit at HealthSource in Saginaw, MI. The Community Education Manager, in conjunction with the Executive Director, is responsible for the planning and implementation of a comprehensive community education program. He/she coordinates the referral development/sales process, develops and maintains accurate community education information and account management systems, as well as coordinating the units internal and external communications program.
