As a **Security Professional - Education Patrol - Morning Shift** in **Wilmington, NC** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education and more .
As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at an educational location, you will play a key role in helping to maintain a secure environment for students, staff, and visitors. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols throughout the campus, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and responding promptly to any situations that arise. You will also be expected to provide outstanding customer service, assisting individuals with questions and concerns while maintaining a professional and approachable demeanor. This position requires driving as part of your patrol duties, so a valid driver's license is necessary. **What You'll Do:**
+ Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
+ Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
+ Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
+ Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
+ Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
**Responsibilities:**
+ Provide customer service to clients, students, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the campus buildings and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
+ Observe and report any unusual conditions or activities, documenting incidents as required by Allied Universal and site protocols.
+ Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying identification as needed, and helping to maintain order within the location.
+ Support emergency response efforts by following established protocols and assisting first responders when necessary.
+ Communicate clearly and promptly with Allied Universal management, site staff, and local authorities as required.

**Minimum Requirements:**
+ Must have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
+ Must be at least 21 years of age.
+ A valid driver's license is required and must meet Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
+ Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
+ Customer service experience is preferred.
+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
