**Job Summary**
Provide program management oversight over scope, schedule and budget of electric vehicle projects in compliance with the BPU Order and PSEG procedures. Ensure projects meet all program requirements, including project scope and cost effectiveness.
- Develop and maintain the processes for implementing electric vehicle energy efficiency projects and programs in accordance with requirements for BPU approved programs.
- Interface with PSEG associates, vendors, customers and outside consultants to assure the Program rules and requirements are maintained, the projects are cost effective and the information needed for management and regulatory reporting is accurate and timely.
- Perform and oversee program and project QA/QC as required; Apply knowledge in emissions reductions measures and techniques to program and project oversight
- Manage customer relationships to provide program services with a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Coordinate and direct the activities of vendors and contractors. Review vendor deliverables. Monitor vendor performance, and review/process vendor invoices.
- Ensure vendor and employee compliance with safety protocols and practices.
- Compile and analyze data from various projects / sources to monitor the status of customer projects and report to management. Projects may include the installation of various utility capital assets such as transformers, poles and wires; and electric vehicle chargers energy conservation measures (ECMs) such as residential Level 2, mixed-use commercial Level 2 chargers, direct current fast chargers (DCFC) in community or highway locations HVAC, lighting, motors, energy management systems, etc., as appropriate for the program.
- Analyze performance results for management reports; Provide monthly project status forecasts
- Assist with special projects as necessary.
- During storm restoration efforts, may be required to perform functions outside of routine duties and on a schedule that may be different from normal operations.
**Job Responsibilities**

**Job Specific Qualifications**
Required
+ B.S. Degree plus 5 years of experience in the space of energy or electric vehicle programs, project management, customer service, or marketing, education, or outreach practices, construction, or related fields. In lieu of a degree, 9 years of experience in the space of energy or electric vehicle programs, project management, customer service, or marketing, education, or outreach practices, construction, or related field.
+ Experience processing milestone based construction payments and forecasting financial spend
+ Knowledge of emissions reductions measures, implementation, and cost
+ Demonstrated excellent communication skills (oral and written)
+ Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel & MS Word)

ROLE SUMMARY
The Electric Vehicle Quality Engineering Manager works to ensure resolution of quality issues in collaboration with Subaru of America (SOA), Subaru Canada, Inc., Subaru Corporation (SBR), Toyota Motor North America (TMNA), and various suppliers.
Plays a critical role in dealing with all battery electric vehicle (BEV) business models of Subaru and ensures that field investigations and diagnostics support activities are carried out in a fast and efficient manner. Trains and develops High Voltage Engineering Diagnostics experts and Quality Investigation talents by recruiting local junior engineers and by collaborating with engineering experts within North American Subaru, Inc. (NASI) organization, SBR, and TMNA.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Quality Investigation Management: Leads the investigation of vehicle quality issues, determining the root cause, identifying required resources, and developing action plans. Travels to Subaru retail locations in North America with SOA and Subaru Canada, Inc. colleagues as needed.
- Team Leadership: Supervises and guides a team of specialists, managing workload distribution, providing training and development, and ensuring the team's success in meeting performance goals.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Cross-functional Communication: Ensures effective communication with senior management, technical teams, and other stakeholders, reporting on progress and status of investigations.
- Continuous Learning & Market Awareness: Stays informed of industry trends, emerging technologies, and market changes to enhance the team's investigative processes and quality standards.
- Plans and organizes for retailer visits and regular quality improvement meetings (including overseas in Japan and Canada, etc.).
- Coordinates with other NASI and SOA teams to successfully conduct quality investigations and communicating corrective actions.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND PERSONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
- At least six (6) to eight (8) years of experience with high voltage diagnostics and quality management; thorough knowledge of EV architecture; and experienced in handling electric drives, inverters, and other high voltage electric vehicle components.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure that complex diagnostics cases are properly handled.
- Ability to investigate and explain the findings in a technical manner.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities at one time with ability to multi-task and stay organized.
- Ability to work cross-functionally with different companies, teams, and cultures.

Compensation: The recruiting base salary range for this full-time position is $92,000.00 - $30,000.00/year. Within the range, individual pay is determined by factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Additionally, this role is bonus-eligible , with a target bonus percentage that provides an opportunity to earn even more based on your performance. (Internal Job Grade: M1)

You will be accountable to coordinate materials and equipment for Electric Vehicle Charging Station projects, customer driven as well as support Project Managers and project engineers to ensure project related materials and equipment are appropriately verified off material lists and delivered/confirmed to the correct location. You'll be reporting to a lead PM but may be working with Distribution and Transmission planning teams, logistic groups, operating districts, and storage facilities.
You will confirm availability of material, schedule and confirm delivery, and oversee issues with lack of materials and solutions. You'll handle and analyze data, prepare material status reports, and prepare presentations for project managers and leadership.
You will be familiar with material processes and procedures and have the ability to see issues and develop resolutions to improve efficiency. You will attend strategy meetings, summarize discussion points and action items, and follow up with responsible parties to ensure progress and completion.

Job Responsibilities:
* Compile, organize, and analyze material data
* Prepare material status reports and presentations for project managers and leadership
* Attend strategy meetings, summarize discussion points and action items, and follow up with responsible parties to ensure progress and completion
* Assist Project teams in identifying material codes to match their needs
* Entry of BOM into SAP for material reservations, identifying potential shortages
* Prepare reservation checklist which lists and confirms material availability and any actions needed by others
* Prepare Material Issue Requests (MIR) to meet delivery requests based on Construction dates.
* Order non-stock code materials
* Provide possible substitutions based on available inventory for approval and update reservation accordingly
* Complete Material Transfers as needed
* Prepare Material Return Forms and process material returns
* Pre-alert Purchasing team of material needs, when ROS date is not within the normal purchase lead times
* Provide Project teams with updated information on their reservations, ensuring all material needs are available and/or will be met
* Communicate directly with Construction Managers to help fill material needs on an urgent basis
* Assist with material records needs for closeout
* Verify Material Documentation is complete
* SAP procurement, logistics processes, and material oversight following reservations to acceptance to district delivery for work execution
* The successful candidate must be able to accurately and timely track material input, assist with project material coding and selection and interact with other teams daily
* Reviewing mixture reports for accuracy and compliance with the specified requirements
* Close coordination with buying process is essential to confirm that all work on the project has incorporated only acceptable and documented material as a part of the completed work
Required:
* Bachelor's Degree and/or equivalent field and logistical material experience
* Proficient use of the SAP procurement module, SAP material transactions and SAP/CPD work orders. Strong familiar use of SAP/CPD functionality, reporting, work order and material tracking
* Strong computer skills and thorough knowledge of Microsoft 365 applications, including Excel, Word, Teams, and Outlook. Ability to use Excel functions including sorting, filtering, VLOOKUP
* Ability to understand large data sets, extract trends, prepare graphs, and identify meaningful summaries for high level reports
* Excellent communication skills (oral and written)
* High level of attention to detail and organization
Preferred:
* Relevant pipeline materials experience
* Knowledge of construction materials, including pipes, cables and equipment
* Ability to read and interpret Company Material Specifications and drawings/as built plans and material list review (engineering drawings and IFC designs)
* Thorough knowledge of Company procurement practices and policies
