The Battery Technology Engineer I will collaborate with Engineering and Operations teams globally to design, build, and qualify innovative battery solutions - revolving around best-in-class Li-Ion cells, battery management systems, and a commitment to high-performance & compatibility with every platform tool. You will join a team of passionate electronic, firmware, mechanical and IoT engineers to deliver the next Milwaukee Tool breakthroughs.
**You'll also be DISRUPTIVE through these duties and responsibilities:**
+ Design, prototype, test and troubleshoot battery systems including both hardware and firmware.
+ Create test plans for components and assemblies within the scope of the project and organization.
+ Use laboratory equipment such as oscilloscopes, power supplies, e-loads and data acquisition systems.
+ Track projects to ensure adherence to schedule and the Milwaukee process.
+ Draw concise, logical, written conclusions from experiments based on data analysis.
+ Schedule, develop agendas for, facilitate and document technical meetings and formal presentations.
+ Develop and maintain familiarity and understanding of Milwaukee's development and manufacturing processes.
+ Work with and establish trusting relationships with engineers throughout Asia and the world.
+ Design to and qualify new designs to applicable regulatory standards such as UL, CEC, CE and ANSI.
**What TOOLS you'll bring with you:**
