Our client, a leading company in the elevator industry, is seeking an Electrical Assembly to join their team. As an Electrical Assembly, you will be part of the production department supporting a dynamic team. Job Title: Electrical Assembly
Location: Allen, TX
Pay Range: $19-$22
Shift: Mon-Thurs/5am-3:30pm
What's the Job?

Assemble electrical panels, control boxes, and systems according to engineering specifications.
-
?Perform point-to-point wiring, crimping, stripping, and harness assembly.
-
Perform continuity checks, insulation tests, and basic troubleshooting of electrical systems.
-
Read and interpret electrical blueprints, wiring diagrams, and schematics to determine assembly procedures and wire routing.
-
Identify components and part numbers from technical drawings.
-
Operate hand tools and power tools such as screwdrivers, drills, wire strippers, crimpers, torque wrenches, etc.
-
Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the workplace and ensure the good condition of the equipment used.
What's Needed?
-
1-2 years of electrical assembly experience is preferred.
-
Ability to exert up to 35 pounds of force consistently.
-
Proficiency in using hand and power tools such as screwdrivers, pliers, and tape measures.
-
Capability to reach parts as low as floor level and as high as 6 feet on storage shelves.

Visual acuity to read numbers on parts and assembly charts.

The Role
Assembles electrical, equipment, and subassemblies according to customer specifications by performing the following duties.
What you will be responsible for:
- Assembles electrical and mechanical, equipment, and their subassemblies according to customers' needs following drawings and other written and verbal specifications.
- Drills, taps, or reams holes, aligns components, and bolts, screws, or rivets them together using hand tools or portable power tools; bends and installs electrical conduit.
- Strips shielding and crimps assorted wires to required work instructions.
- Trains, or assists in the training of other employees in assembly processes.
- Regular attendance, ability to arrive at work punctually, ability to work on-site, ability to work overtime
- Implement and maintain 5S (workplace organization method in the area with good housekeeping manner).
- Responsible with hand-tools, power-tools and/or equipment in the area on daily basis to ensure cleanliness and functionality at all time.
- Ability to work cooperatively with others, ability to deal respectfully with the public, customers, vendors, other employees, managers, and executive management
- Ability to perform multiple tasks concurrently, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, ability to interchange with others in the department
- Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.
- Two years of prior assembly related experience.
