**General Summary:**
The Electrical Designer, with some supervision from the senior staff and/or the Manager of Electrical Engineering, will provide electrical analysis, design and drafting skills for lighting, power and associated control systems, and low voltage systems such as IT and fire alarm for new construction and/or renovation of industrial, commercial, educational, governmental, and healthcare structures in conformance to client requirements and applicable codes. **Essential Job Functions:**
+ Possess / demonstrate the engineering knowledge and understanding to design and analyze electrical systems for the installation, interconnection, and control of architectural, electrical and mechanical components.
+ Using applicable codes and standards, design lighting and power distribution systems, low voltage systems (e.g. fire alarm systems, telecommunications/data networks, lighting control systems, power monitoring systems, etc.), and sizing of equipment.

We are urgently seeking an experienced Electrical Designer with a strong experience in BIM design. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing design in Revit for engineering services on design-build and/or bid-build projects across various sectors, including industrial, data centers, commercial, government, and energy.
Responsibilities
+ Provide drafting design in Revit for engineering services on design-build and/or bid-build projects.
+ Perform annotations independently and ensure accuracy in design work.
+ Model and coordinate clashes in Revit.
+ Conduct QA/QC on shop drawings prior to release for construction.
+ Ensure designs comply with National Electrical Code for safe installation of electrical equipment.
Essential Skills
+ Experience in electrical design and engineering.
+ Proficiency in Revit for electrical design and BIM coordination.
+ Knowledge of AutoCAD.
+ Familiarity with National Electrical Code.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ 2 to 10 years of experience in Electrical MEP design.
